I feel for you like everyone else that has been scammed or almost scammed by these rip off con-artists. You had asked if there was anything you could do to get your money back and/or more information on actions against Poetry.com, etc. Well, I have some of that information for you. First, so that this company doesnt do this again to you, here is a list of affiliated names: 1) International Library of Poetry 2) National Library of Poetry 3) Poetry.com 4) Noble House Publishers 5) American Literary Press 6) International Society of Poets 7) International Poetry Hall of Fame 8) Watermark Press 9) Birthwrites 10) International Lib 11) Pegasus Press 12) International Society of Photography (Photography Contest) 13) Pictures.com (Photography Contest) 14) Arts and Kids (Photography Contest) The only thing you can do is to file a complaint with the Maryland Attorney Generals office. Their information is: The Office of the Attorney General 200 St. Paul Place Baltimore, MD 21202 Email: [email protected] You can also sign a petition from about yourself and Poetry.com by going to www.stopilp.com. The form you fill out is given to attorneys looking into the Poetry.com Scam. Here you can look up news reports done on them such as, ABCs 20/20 on January 5, 1998, NBC 4 on February 25, 1999 and Consumer Reports on June 1998, just to name a few.
