This company acts as the reservation website for certain hotels and possibly other vacation related companies. You will not know that you are dealing with them as they operate under the hotel's website.

We booked a reservation on the hotel website or so we thought. We paid in advance with a credit card. When we arrived at the hotel it was under demolition and reconstruction (no pool, no restaurants, no view, dirt everywhere etc.). We did not check in and the hotel graciously refunded our entire 5 day payment for two rooms. The problem is that they made the refund to internationalvacation.com.

This outfit wants to keep a large cancelation fee and refuses to refund my payment unless I agree to the cancelation fee. They are impossible to deal with (refund dept. is in India) The domestic phone number is a voice mail. If you make a vacation reservation and discover that you are dealing with internationalvacation.com RUN!!!

We represent several hotels in a very transparent manner.The individuals knew that they were dealing with Internationalvacation as they had executed a credit card authorization form which clearly states that our company represents the hotel in question. The hotel did not inform us of any renovations.In any event,the above traveller did not stay at the hotel.The funds paid by the traveller had been remitted to the hotel.The client acknowledges that the hotel had been paid.Thus, as an ethical company, we did pay the hotel for the clients booking. Upon the travellers return, they wanted an immediate refund in full.We indicated that we would need to discuss this matter with the hotel and evaluate what occurred.A refund in FULL has been processed after it was confirmed that the hotel was under renovation in certain sections.The hotel was operational and was open for business while renovations were on going.
