Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Internet Business Consulting (IBC) and owner Jim (James) Hollis have been involved in deceptive business practices for some time. They find ISPs that need money and scam them on equipment sales. They sell used equipment as new. Jim buys and sells illegal drugs through the office.

The lease scam IBC does is find a company in need of equipment. Then put them in for several lease programs, sometimes with ficticous info to insure one lease comes back approved. They mark up the cost of the equipment by sometimes as much as 50% over the course of the lease. They will hide the figures from the customer. The lease company writes IBC a fat check, the ISP is stuck paying though the nose. If you lease, ask to see all the numbers!

IBC is on a witch hunt with competing companies that offer a fair service. If they cannot sell against them, Jim Hollis sues the company and it's employees in a frivolous lawsuit. He has made a lot of money ripping people off, so he uses that money to scare people into quiting working for the competition.

Jim Hollis pretends like he is the good church-going family man, but in reality is a total jerk. He treats his employees with no respect. He buys, sells, and takes cocaine and pot.

He previously ran Internet Finance and Equipment, but sold it and stole the money from the investor and started IBC. He is a total slime.

I would be very cautious on doing business with this company.

This claim was filed by 2 former, disgruntled employees:  Randy Sargent and his son Jason Paul Sargent.  IBC successfully sued and won a $1.7M award in Federal Court against Randy and Jason after proving they stole $700,000 from Internet Business Consulting.  The judge more than doubled (could have tripled it) the award because of the conspiracy (RICO) this father and son committed.

THIS IS A FALSE REPORT

Internet Business Consulting (aka IBC) provided brokered lease transactions through quality financial companies like GE Capital, CitiBank, Dana Corporation and had their own line of credit with SouthTrust Bank.  These companies did audits on IBC and IBC was purchased by Linc Capital, a public company, and was audited publically without comment or issue.  One year after being purchased by Linc, Linc hit tough times, defaulted on the purchase agreement, and as a settlement returned the purchased assets to IBC.  IBC and Jim continue (through 2012) to do business with the companies and business owners it did business with from 1996 to 2005.

The claim against Jim Hollis was false too.  Randy and Jason were both fired by Jim, as the then President of IBC, with significant cause - thus their anger and false ripoffreport.com claim.  Randy and Jason subsequently started CSI to compete with IBC.  One year later and over $300,000 in debt they closed their doors and filed corporate bankruptcy.  Randy and Jason later filed personal bankruptcy and the judge refused to dismiss the $1.7M award because of the fraudulent nature of their actions.

Jason, not Jim, had a drug problem and was later arrested and charged with drug paraphernalia and weapon charges and obtaining prescription drugs (felony) under false pretense.  Jason and Randy's wives finally left him.

Beware of this father/son team.
