I have recently been to France and have a hard disagreement with cole du Ski Franais / Tignes regarding ski lessons I scheduled. I am convict that is severely interferes my legal rights and would really appreciate public intervention. Please find below the letter I addressed to Ecole du Ski Franais / Tignes and the subsequent e-mail responses we have exchanged.

On the 3rd of March I came to ESF / Tignes to book for private lessons. I scheduled 5 private lessons from 04/03/2012 to 08/03/2012.

A few days later, I found the card of the lessons I had scheduled in ESF / Val Thorens two years ago and the price was much lower. So I decided to understand the difference and came back this Thursday (08/03/2012) and the ESF / Tignes office was closed. But I saw the leaflet with the price table and realized there are packs of private lessons you state as Formula Avantage that I was not informed when I first booked the lessons, situation that I fully regret. I cannot accept that these packages were not shown when I first came to the ESF / Tignes. I paid 775 for 13h45m of private lessons when I would definitely go for the 6 1h30m at 384 (page 5 of the pricetable).

Considering I have already used my lessons, I am not refusing to pay for the 13h45m classes, but I think I should pay the same hour price as for the package:

(384/9h) = 42,67/h- price per hour for the Formula Avantage classes;
13,75h 42,67/h = 586,67 - price for the classes I took, but with the
Formula Avantage price;
775 - 586,67 = 188,33.

In conclusion I demand for the 188,33 refund I think it is fair for both parts, considering I was not informed about your special conditions.

Concerning the letter you wrote to us on the 9th of march, and following the conversation you have had with the director of the ESF. He did check the situation of last week, there were no instructor available on lunch time hours  to do the Advantage Package, and this is the reason why my colleague did not inform you of it. Dear Sirs,
I regret that, for the first time in the whole process, you state that there were no instructor available on lunch time hours  to do the Advantage Package (no one has ever told me that). Although, reviewing your e-mail, you confirm that there is no doubt that the information about the package was not passed (and it should be) to the client.  I cannot accept the presented excuse and will postpone the case to other entities and publish the case.
