Don Wilhelm Inc., Jamestown, ND, does not currently sell, and has never sold, a STarCare extended warranty. We, therefore, find Rodney from Valley City's complaint very puzzling. The $7000 price tag cited for the 2 extended warranties is also very puzzling. To my knowledge, Don Wilhelm Inc. does not now sell, and has never sold, warranties with such unusually high price tags.

I understand the frustration, but if your warrenty was expired, what should they have done? I understand their position. I am here because I have a problem with this company as well. We bought an ex-tended warranty (not StarCare)from this company. Our 99 Dodge Durango is still covered for 20,000 and 2 years. The entire engine needs to be replaced. They claim that we never changed the oil in our vehicle. We supplied receipts and they say that doesn't prove that the oil was actually changed! Sludge in the engine....Denied My Husband went to inspect the vehicle him self. He saw that something got hot in the engine and burned the oil onto the screen, causing a portion to sludge. The oil that was drained was in good condition, which apparently isn't usually so when you haven't changed he oil. They won't listen, they won't pay ($5000). Their response? Sludge in the engine, denied. Well, we have contacted the ins. commissioner, will be contacting the atty general and taking them to court. Apparently our atty gen in MN is already investigating these companys for ripping people off.
