inthemafia.com poor and abusive service, cheating in the game by owners, scam token sales Ripoff Internet
I've played inthemafia for over two years and have seen many instances of cheating in the game by the owners Josh and Sean. They attack token buyers to increase token sales, their "favorite" players or friends are allowed to repeatedly use "bugs" to cheat in the game round after round. Many rounds start with these favorite players exploiting bugs and beeing allowed to continue playing without being dlelted as promissed in the rules.
For over a year owners have promissed a new BETA version to run with the old game and Platinum subscribers would have access to the BETA side, seven times specific dates have been advertised when the "new" game would start. To this date no BETA exists and after buying subs and tokens specifically to access the new game only a "suggestion" site exists.
I've been called a moron or an a**hole by the owners for reporting bugs or problems with game play. Owner response to complaints or poroblem reports are very slow or non-existant and will often result in rude or abusive replys.
Inthemafia states: " this game deals with drug and violent crimes of a strictly fantasy nature and no one under 18 years old can play the game", MANY of the games top players admit in the public forums and family social clubs that they are well under 18 and no account deletions have EVER occured. Again, the owners have no intention of following their rules of promised account deletions for violating these rules of game play.
Overall the game plays well but every round for the last six start with "favorite" players exploiting mostly old bugs to cheat inside the game, little discipline is ever doled out as promissed in the rules, often no accounts are deleted at all.

The way I see it, in 5+ years and over 50+ players being either falsely deleted, verbally abused and/or getting monetarily raped by Administration on this game cannot be wrong or a joke or dare I say an attack on the reputation of ITM(inthemafia.com)but instead an obvious truth that just because the Administrators and it seems ONLY the Administrators try and discredit the reports does not make it 100% true.
And what really sucks with National Security being the biggest issue in today's economy and Cyber Crimes getting practically no recognition by law enforcement leaves innocent citizens like myself and this person here virtually helpless... It Sucks!
I am the one who filed the First Original against this site in 2006 I believe and I stand by my statement to this day, they ripped me off well over $5,000 in not only that $30 Subscription but money I was investing in Sean and Josh Belcastro's game and one we were SUPPOSE to make/develop together.
Point is, is that do not under any circumstances think for one second that if you play long enough, and really pay attention and uncover the obvious misdeeds of the corrupted Admins and have the courage to confront them about it in any way they will not delete you in a heartbeat if you do not agree with them.
I know they cheated because I was IN a Family with Josh back in the day, and I WITNESSED him turn on Organized Crime Success rate to 100% so we could get Moolah$$$ for next to nothing and win the Round Networth that round. Yes I will admit to cheating to win in this game, but I am a player... Not an Admin.
Looking back I would have never cheated with the Admin seeing how much it messed up the game play for others... And now look at his site, a mere shadow of its former self...
Yea it is getting updates, but it use to be packed and vibrant with the most colorful and great personalities you would ever have the pleasure of playing an online RPG game with... A combination of the best people that together would take you away mentally to a place where you truly believed in your head you was a Gangster, a Don, a Consigliere...
This will never happen again because they truly do cheat at their own game, and they are so biased it aint even funny... What this guy says is true, do not let the Admin here discredit his credibility. I have not played since 2006 and still back it up to this day that these Admins cheat...
And I am well over the $5,000 now, I make that in a week so you KNOW I got no reason to lie and if this helps even ONE person not get ripped off me and the other victims have done our job I think... (So much more needs to be said, but I am tired... Probably gonna post again when I wake up. haha)
Someone SUE these pieces of crap already! They arr modern day crooks/schmucks!

I am currently the president of the company that purchased this website and also one of the people listed within the complaint. I would like to address each part of this report to give our side of the story. 1.) As far as I am aware Josh or I have never given any player of our game any advantage over another player. We had two previous players that were promoted to admins who were found to have done this but they were quickly removed when we found out what was going on. 2.) Beta access to ITM2 was available at this time and all you had to do was click a link listed right under the suggestion forums link. I guess we did not make the link big enough or have blinking bright colors for people to see. 3.) I can not comment on this since I do not know the user who posted this but some people when they have started yelling at us have been cursed at. 4.) We have no way to verify if a user is over 18 that's why out ToS is written in a way to protect us in case a minor is playing the game. We also do NOT take what players say about their age or another players age seriously since people have lied in the past to get an advantage.

I have been an employee and close associate to both inthemafia.com and its owners and would say with a 100% guarentee that these claims are nothing more than a few kids being sore losers to an online game. At no point in the games history has an admin or owner ever scammed or cheated the system. The game is run by a set of rules and guidelines geared toward making the online experience better for the token buyers and players. Lots of times an individual will bring big talk to the games table and end up losing. Rather than lose with dignity they would rather make excuses as to why they lost and end up coming here to file a report. These reports against this company are completely false and do nothing but show truth in the individuals filing them. ~Admin
