Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
this company picked up a load on thursday that was supposed to deliver on saturday morning, on friday we had to call them due to no check in, after that we could not reach them again till later in the afternoon. when we did reach them the lady in their office had sent over a fax requesting a monday appt for the load. our goods are time sensitive. once we finally got her back on the phone she stated that their driver doesnt work on the weekends at all. and that on monday they were not going to deliver any part of the 2 stop load until they got full payment for the load even though they were already 2 days late. now today is monday and they are trying to deliver the load in reverse due to where their driver lives.

this company holds freight for ransom, does not deliver according to rate confirmations, and does not answer their phones. do not load them at risk that when this was created the load still has not been delivered, also they only have 5k cargo coverage well below the minimum requirements for most freight.

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, November 30, 2010

As the owner of Intrex Express, Inc. I would like to state that I have been in the Transportation Business for 20 years. We booked a load with Jennings Transportation on WENDNESDAY LATE AFTERNOON. The Shipper was suppose to load the cargo on the truck the same day, no matter how late. The shipper was open and waited for the driver, but they did not have the paperwork, so the driver had to wait until THURSDAY MORNING. Once the driver got loaded, he left the shippers location at NOON on THURSDAY. We called Jennings at the same time, to inform them that they have to change the delievery appointment to MONDAY because of DOT regulations. Jennings had no problem with that, and they said they'll change it. Once the driver was on the road to Florida, we gave Jennings check in calls. All telephone calls from Jennings were answered.

Before we signed the contract with Jennings, Jennings agreed upon COD before the delievery was made, because JENNINGS HAD BAD CREDIT, THEY DO NOT PAY THE CARRIERS, AND THEY ARE ON THE NO BUY LIST WITH FACTORING COMPANIES. (We work with Riviera Finance, a factoring company in Oakbrook Terrace, IL)

Upon delievering the first stop, they paid us 50% of the agreed rate using a COMCHECK. Upon the second delievery they refused to pay, stating no cause of the no payment. Once this happened, the state law enforcement of Kentucky was informed of the whole situation and all documantation involved in this situation was provided. After the state police recieved the contract, an Employee of Jennings contacted us and provided a COMCHECK number for the remaining balance.

ALL US DOT APPROVED CARRRIERS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM CARGO COVERAGE OF 100K TO RECIEVE THEIR AUTHORITY.
