Investment Property Solution - Weekly Timeshares - Scott Promised sale of our Timeshare in 90 days and now realizing it was a scam Largo Florida
I was contacted by a man named Scott with Investment Property Solutions. He said he had spoke with my husband a year ago about selling our timeshare and he now had a buyer with approved financing. Scott promised that if we paid $800 up front we would get it back after the sale and if the other couple pulled out of the deal we would also get it back so essentially we would be out nothing. We stressed in more than one phone call that we were hurting financially and were only willing to go through this if he had a buyer NOW and he promised he did. We have since called him weekly sometimes more often and emailed and everytime we talk to him he pushes the date of the sale back a little longer. I've called our timeshare and they have not heard from anyone at his company and our Timeshare still holds the deed since we are still paying on it so they would have to be contacted for a payoff amount. We have spent hours on the phone with this man begging him not to screw us over because we can't afford it and he PROMISED this was a done deal, no problem. My husband and I are sick over this!

The complainer says that Scott said that he had a buyer. Is that what you said Scott or wasn't it? This isn't mentioned in Scott's response.

I tried my best to help Nicole and her husband Tracy sale their timeshare. I provided them with all the information of our company and ask them to look it over. We sent out an agreement that expressly states what our services will provide to them All was well at first. Nicole's husband started to call and harass me for unrealistic sales expectations. I tried to get him to realize timeshares are difficult to sale and give it time. Yet he insisted that he is in sales and that it should happen fast, I then said maybe he should sale it. I had to cut off contact with him when he threatened me, Nicole apologized on his behalf and so at that point we went our separate ways. I know its frustrating when you buy a timeshare, many people feel cheated from the start but they are difficult to resale but I try my best to help. Scott
