Complaint Review: Iowa Tanklines -ITL- - Stanley North Dakota

Issue Number 1  This company is the worst! Never ever work for them! Even their so called dispatch manager admitted to me that their company has been throught 400 drivers in one year! I wonder why! First off let's start with the mney since their low level of ethics won't allow them to see past how much they can screw their truck drivers out of! Whenever you go to work for a company as a truck driver it is law that you are told what your truck will earn. ITL advertises on Craigslist for truck owners to provide a truck with a wet kit and an approved driver. They claim in their ad that they help with startup expenses, things like general working equipment used to haul crude oil. They charge you three times what you can pay at the store but don't tell you how much they're going to charge. you won't know how much you've been robbed out until you get your so called and invoice. When hauling crude oil in the oil fields, trucks are paid by a barrel rate. For example, if the load is a 100 mile distance it will pay a barrel rate of roughly $3.10 per barrel. This is at an average of 200 barrels or more in a 285 barrel capacity trailer. By law, whenever you sign a truck on with a company, they must tell you how much your truck will earn, whether that is a barrel rate a mileage rate or an hourly rate. Not with bum company. They just deposit any amount and say "here's what your truck made and you just have to accept being ripped off. If you ask questions, they instantly find lame exudes to get rid of you. Why? So they can get away with NOT paying you fully. I asked several times what my truck would earn and for a rate sheet and was avoided every time. So for example, the pay could be $2,000 a load but they'll only pay $300. If that! When you're the one providing the service they sit on their crooked assessment and make free money from the very people who make their company run. Truly pathetic! I'm going to stop them! That isn't even the worst part.

My company had a short lived 2 month long run with these low lives! They stole 3 drivers that I hired under their agreement and then fired my truck for absolutely no reason! Well, the real reason is that they knew they were only going to be able to rip me off for so long and when it reaches the boiling point, you're out the door. Each driver that I hired was convinced by ITL to stop working for my company and hop in one of their trucks. They'll offer your drivers more money and other perks that a small start up company needs time to build. I was wondering why my drivers kept quitting. I went through 3 drivers in 2 months. The 1st quit for a legit reason. The was in the shop a little too long and he didn't want to wait. Perfect opportunity for ITL to do what they do best, steal! The second and third driver quit before they even finished orientation! Why because they were offered a job but this scam company! Why not just hire me as one of their driver recruiters? Oh because they want that service for free, too This is their game and it's how they get rich off the backs of honest workers trying to make an honest living. For most trucking companies it is highly beneficial to keep every driver that you can retain. There is a huge shortage of truck drivers in this industry and each company that is honest and fair does their part to keep their drivers satisfied. Not ITL! The higher turn over rate the better because they will have made more off of a driver that they had for 2 months by ripping him off then they would by having our driver on for 2 years. I'm surprised there aren't more complaints on this site and online. Because in the industry it is well known that Iowa Tanklines is unethical and will leave you high and dry!

There's so much morethat I could write about this company but I'm going to save it for the Attorney General and my lawyer. I strongly encourage anyone else who has had the same type of issue with this crooked, lowlife, scam company two steps forward. Reach out to me through this website and join the lawsuit. 7) You provide an approved driver, and a tractor with a wet kit.

8) We will finance the wet kit for $1000 down. (Optional- you will save money if you get it on your own).
