IPA, ITA, IBA, International Profit Associates ripoff Misrepresentations of services and credentials (Industry Specific?) Buffalo Grove Illinois

I'm ashamed to say the IPA machine got a hold of me, too. They prey on individual insecurities or personal desires of the small business owner. They can show you how to do it better, help you make more money, turn your company around, or they create fear (Only one in ten companies make it more than five years). Folks, it's nothing more than a cold call scripted hard sell. It may be legal, but ethically unconscionable. In my opinion, these guys make used car salesmen look good.

A phone call comes in and say that, "An IPA representative 'just happens' to be in the neighborhood, or one of the IPA consultants was in you town and the project was postponed or canceled." They can come by and provide you with a "FREE" analysis of your company's current condition.

A polished CLOSER shows up at your door with a high dollar suit, pressed shirt, bling-bling, and a breathe mint. It appears that they're really looking whether you have enough cash on hand to pay their sizable bill as the walk out the door, while just providing a bunch of canned advice that has your company's name littered through it. They'll bring in a team leader that will identify the specific issues that your company needs to address.

It appears they reiterate what you tell them the issues should be. He'll have one or two "anaylsts" (people who are each charging $235.00/hour) with him. They'll try to spend as much time as they can with you. The more you ignore them, the more they like it. They'll take one or two calls from people they've previously "helped". Take note the stress in their voices as they talk to their "valued client". I would venture to guess that IPA's services have provided the death nail for many struggling company's.

They have not provided any follow up service or come back to see how we're doing. Needless to say, if any person from IPA ever darkened my door ever again, I would have them escorted off of the premises immediately.
