IPS - Information Product Services - John Lucas Took my money and did not perform service ordered. They will not respond to my emails. ripoff Allentown Pennsylvania
I ordered 600,000 emails to to targeted email addresses directing them to visit a website. I paid IPS $99.00 for this service. Reference Number: 6599630, Date: 02/13/2007.
The company states that I will receive 100-1000 hits per 100,000 emails sent. This means I should receive 600-6,000 hits. I did receive about 1250 hits.
However, this program is a "free to join program" with the join rate at 10% to 30% of hits. So I should have had 125-375 people join for free. I had ZERO free signups.
This leads me to believe that the company did not send emails out for me. I think they just repeatedly clicked on my website to show hits. Or, they sent out annoying pop-up ads that counted as hits, that were immediately closed.
I emailed the company after 5 days discussing my problem and how should it be rectified. John Lucas said he would look into it. No answer. A second email requesting a refund. No answer. A third email demanding a refund. No answer.
I would strongly advise people to stay away from this company.
