Irving Cares A United Way Affiliate They did nothing to help. Irving Texas
Last October 2004, I got an upper chest infection. I was given a antibiotic and pain killer, again it happened and finally they tested me after the third time I recieved proper treatment.
But not until after I had been released form work. After destroying my credit to keep myself, my daughter , and son fed and bills taken care of by using all of my credit cards.. I fanlly ran out of everything.
Because I no one will hire a person and strong pain killers. I started working odd jobs. Doing handyman type jobs ie fixing plumbing, yard maintenance.
I have been able to make between $800 - $900.00 a month. IT gives me enough to get gas, food, and basic needs for my kids and I. I asked my ex - wife to help me pay my mortgage until I sold the house I have. Then I could pay her back, and get an apartment.
But, my utilities are so high Irving Water department cutoff my water. And soon electricity will go off as well. I went to Irving Cares to get a one time help.
I was turned down because I dont have paystubs for the last month, I was turned down because I am told I am eligable to work. But no one will hire me until I am off medication.
Irving Cares does not mind helping people of hispanic background, or if they are black, or even asan.. Because if you are they are scared you will turn them in as a racist..
These charities had no problem raising money or asking for donations at my sons school or my daughters school. They never had problem showing up or asking me when I was at work.
They never minded when I wqas in the army and they asked for money.
This is a scam.. Because if I was of a different race, or a mother - they would jump to help. I am so disappointed in these reach out programs. I am -- I AM going to get on my feet, And I am going to be apologized to and I am going to show everyone they are full of it. I just need help to get caught up in my utitiy bills.
