I am currently listed with I Sold My House.com. I have had my house listed in Nashua NH now for three weeks and now have an offer. I was asked by a colleague considering selling her house for reviews and I found this and felt compelled to respond. My experience has been 100% positive. The service has been outstanding. I am using their services because three of my friends have had success using I sold my house.com in the past. I am a professional in the financial services industry and I understand what it takes to be considered a top quality company and I sold my house.com meets all those expectations from my experience as well as people I know who have used their services. I find it hard to believe a card services division at this persons credit card company had a company wide computer crash. Due to the sensitive nature of people's financial security there are many back ups to prevent that from happening. I want to be VERY CLEAR that I have not been asked to write this, nor have I discussed this with anyone at I sold my house.com. This is 100% my own initiative. I find Tamworths complaints to be of a very personal nature and I put no credence in personal attacks launched in forums such as this. I would recommend I Sold My House.com to anyone considering selling their house not only because they have excellent service and tools for you, but because it works.

Batman/Jody and Owen,
I may have gained some respect for this company if Owen, the owner, had called me back to discuss this rather than responding to my complaint here. Two years later, no less. Now it's documented quite clearly here that I am being called a liar. So be it. Whatever makes you sleep better. "Batman" sounds suspiciously like a loyal employee of this company who, because she's probably not servicing customers has too much free time on her hands. Owen is obviously not familiar with my complaint as it's obvious my name is that of a male and not a female (he keeps referring to me as "she") in his feeble rebuttal.
As I said, it's 2 years later and I have moved on from this unfortunate experience with this company. I haven't given it another thought till now when I received an e-mail notice from Ripoff that alerted me to the fact that there was a repsonse to my report.
I'm still living in my lovely home and have had several people ask me over the years if I ever decide to sell to let them know. I planned to list the propery for sale on line in an attempt to get the best price. I've decided that I could never replace my mountain home sitting on 13 acres with year round views of the local mountain range. It's priceless.
I have never had an experience like this with any other company and if I am in the wrong I am more than willing to "man up" and admit it. My complaint has little to do with the money I lost but rather, with the unprofessional and uncaring attitude of the company and it's empolyees.
I stand by my complaint but as I said, I have moved on and have no further interest in this matter. If I should get any more alerts from Ripoff, I will delete them. Really, it's 2 years later and I suggest it's you who need to move on.

This person had purchased a product with acknowledging the fact that there is a no refund policy. The reason for the no refund policy is because I Sold My House.com only charges a few hundred dollars for a listing on I Sold My House.com, MLS, Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, AOL, Yahoo, Redfin and approx. 150 other real estate web sites. I sold My House.com also sends a lawn sign and all paperwork needed to complete the sale of our sellers houses. I Sold My. House.com purchases this exposure immediately after the person purchases the package and it is non refundable to I Sold My House.com. I Sold My House.com has a money back guarantee stated on the web site as well. This account of what happened is very different from what we were told at I Sold My House.com. I Sold My House.com has a clearly defined system for customers to use for disputes or refund requests, and non of these avenues was followed. I Sold My House.com is not looking to give any customers a hard time. Our Goal is to be helpful and as our A BBB rating states, we have been helpful over the last 18 years. This customer has stated that her credit card companys computers were down when she called to cancel the transaction. We have verified this is not true. This customer also claims that she called the same day, which we also show is not accurate. The phones are on for 8 am until 9 pm seven days a week and we have several clearly marked customer service email contact avenues which were never used.
After careful review we have found many inconsistencies in this persons accounts of the actions and feel compelled to respond to this unfair attack. I sold My house.com would have been happy to help this customer if we were given a chance. But we were not because this customer never followed any instructions as to how to file her issue. I sold My House.com has been in business for 18 years with a Better Business Bureau rating of A for highest standards of service. We are also rated 5 stars by many online reviews for high service standards. We felt it important to respond to this because it's not right when someone uses the internet as a source of spreading innacurate information. We also welcome this person to contact us regarding her issue to discuss our findings versus her statements. We would be happy to resolve this issue in a way suitable to all involved.

Do you honestly believe your story? I find folks like yourself who can somehow manage to find ways to blame everyone but themselves for their misfortunes to be absolutely amazing. My brother-in-law is like that. He's always getting "ripped off" like this too.
You screwed up. You weren't ripped off. Your own ineptitude cost you some cash. I'm sure it wasn't the first time and I'm certain it won't be the last. Here's the very FIRST paragraph from the company's user agreement...
"By placing a real estate advertisement on the ISoldMyHouse.com website, you agree that all sales are final. Once an advertising package has been purchased there will be no refunds on any real estate property advertising or portion thereof. Once an ad is placed with ISoldMyHouse.com, regardless of when, or if, you sell your property, or cancel your ad, you guarantee payment."
Do you have any idea how many steps your "nephew" had to go through to authorize this transaction with YOUR credit card information? Nobody can do it by mistake, I can tell you that.
You ordered something with a no-refund clause, I'm sorry... your "nephew" ordered it, lol... and then you even failed to properly dispute the transaction with the credit card company. And FYI, even if the credit card company's systems were down... they'd still take all your dispute information and follow up on it after the fact, so though you earn points for creativity, you aren't awarded any for actual facts.
Also, since you failed to mention it, I have to assume your house was actually listed all this time too? So they were doing their part, yeah? So you got four months of advertising and assuming your house isn't a hot mess and you're not asking thousands above its value (though, knowing you... amiright? lol) that means you were getting plenty of referrals from ISoldMyHouse, right? None of these people calling to buy your house made you think, "Hey, this is a matter that still needs to be addressed"?
Last, but not least, you finally state... "Isoldmyhouse.com obviously doesn't care about it's customers"... Now, to be fair, we don't know that for sure, do we? I mean, you're don't really think of yourself as their customer, do you? lol
My advice, you should just man-up, take some personal responsibility in this fiasco, write-off the money lost as a life-lesson learned, and move on. You'll feel better for it, trust me. Everyone makes mistakes and admitting to them, learning from them, and moving on, is what normal people do when they screw up. Sure, it sometimes stings your pride, but it also relieves all this pent up frustration. Good luck, pal. Say hi to your "nephew."
