Well yes, I am yet another victim of the recruiters at ITT Tech. I was reeled in by false hopes and I was told several times that my credits would be transferable- NOT TRUE!

I gave it my all and received a silly Associates degree with a 4.0 GPA only to find that the only companies I would be eligible to work for with that degree were offering wages just above minimum wage!

The education provided is ridiculous and the teachers basically will give you a passing grade so long as you show up to class.

Most of the people who were in my class were just as disaponted as I when we began searching for employment within the field.

Now I am stuck with an enormous debt with Sallie Mae (yeah, that's another Rip Off Report there!)

Just do it the right way- you think a tech school is a short-cut...no way! Not worth it!

The ITT responses that seem to back the company have to be phony and perhaps set up by the company. If you read them, one has a lot of statstics that only someone really devoted to the company (ITT themselves) would take the time to quote. All 3 of the rebuttals have the same statement, (education is what you make of it), that is too coincidental to be from actual students. As for the statements about a few "disgrunteled" employees, it may be true but there are dozens of them. The one fact that none of the rebuttals wanted to seem to address was the textbooks that were full of errors and misprints etc. The fact that many colleges have complaints is true but not to the extent ITT does. As for the job situation, you can talk to your hearts content but the truth is not many companies want you and colleges will not give you credit for your courses and please spare me the one or 2 that will with amount of colleges and universities there are and yes companies do ask where you graduated. As for the 140,000 graduates, how many did they push through. That's like the high schools that graduate students due to no student left behind, the results are that you no nothing, it just makes the company look good. Spare eveybody the bull and wake up and smell the coffee.
