ITT TECHNICAL INSTITUTE Well the college is a scam Troy Michigan
I went to ITT TECH, in which the school is the biggest scam that is out there. When I first went there, they told me that I would not have pay anything until I finished the program, in which my 3rd semester there they told me I had to start paying, if not then I would have to leave, I had a teacher talk me out of not leaving, also we received books that we did not even use, but they charged us for it.
We also had teachers who would teach half the semester then end up leaving in the middle of the semester so we would not have a teacher, our final was an open book test because of that. I also failed a mid term in which the teacher I had at that time told me to come in on a Saturday and take a 10 question quiz, not sure if I ever passed that or not.
So now, I am in debt over 30,000 with nothing to show for it. We had a class of about 30 people, when I graduated, we had a class of 3. I believe that because our class was so small, they really did not care about the class, just as long as we made it to the end, they can get our money, they had old, broken drafting tables that we worked off of, the cad system that we used was not up to date until we graduated.
I actually got a job my last semester, in which I had to learn everything from my job, my boss asked me when I started if they taught me anything because everything I learned in class, did not work in the real world, so I was actually gone in 6 months of my hire date. I tell everyone that I know that that school is a scam, way over price and I dont think I should have to pay a penny of that loan. I hope to see that place go down one day.
