I attended ITT Tech for two years. I went and tried to learn something and in the end was drastically shorted! I am now paying for an education that I never received! Not including the intrest, I owe back $22,000 - that's even after I received $17,000 in government grants!

My classes were 4 1/2 to 5 hours long, I would say 95% of my classes were play time. Our instructors would half *** teach for maybe an hour and then we could basically do what we wanted. A good majority of the teachers couldn't even answer a simple question, if you were lucky and they knew the material, they would just do the work for you!

Our math classes were a joke! We were allowed 4 cheat sheets - full size notebook paper - front and back. Yeah, that's really learning something! Our Compositon classes were just as rediculous. We had to write these silly litte papers all the time. CompII. I carried A's on all my work until I had an argument with my instructor. Get this - I ended up with a 69% on my final paper, giving me a B for my final grade. I showed the exact same paper to another Composition teacher - she said it was definately a B paper or better! Ha!

Speaking of instructors, consider yourself lucky if you actually get one with adegree in education. It is not a requirement for them!

I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to this facility. I have been out of school now since September 2005. To no avail can I find employment! I send resume after resume after resume and come up empty every time. I have a beautiful resume - so I have been told, but lack the knowledge or experience. Yeah, both of which ITT was supposed to give me! I recently got offered a position doing CAD for $8 an hour - give me a break, I could make more than that at McDonalds! They said I had a lot to learn and for my level of training that is all they could afford to pay me!

So that's what you get for graduating from ITT! A $30,000 dollar bill (give or take - with grants and such)and a big kick in the a** when you try to utilize that worthless piece of paper that says "ASSOCIATES DEGREE". Better off using it as toilet paper. But then again who spends $30,000 on toilet paper?

I want a refund, or at least to not have to pay for it, does anyone know how to go about this?
