J . D. Wells Construction Cheat Liar Thief King of all Rip Off Artists! Steubenville Ohio
In June, Mr. J.D. Wells was contracted to build a deck onto my home at a cost of $ 3,500.00. This amount was to include materials and labor. Even while it was being constructed, I had several questions for Mr. Wells, regarding WHY he was using inferior lumber ( warped ).
Although the deck is only a few months old, it has begun to slide off the foundation and is gradually falling apart.
I asked this so called carpenter to make the needed corrections to the deck, and was told that he'd do so " when the weather breaks " ...
When I contacted Mr. Wells again and informed him that I was not satisfied with the job, his remark was " So , sue me ".
In small claims court, the judge can rule in your favor, but if the individual can show that he has NO ASSETS, you will never get your money , there fore rather than go through small claims court, I've decided that it would be much better to let the people of Steubenville and surrounding areas see for themselves just what kind of "Quality" work this scumbag does.
