The following is a report I filed with Better Business Bureau Oon August 22, 2006 against the JL Rocken Company.

On July 31, 2006 I purchased four items from JL Rocken for $59.80, which cleared my bank on August 1st. On July 31st., I received an email confirmation stating that they usually ship within 4-7 days of receiving the order, barring any delays. I waited until the second week in August to begin inquiring about my order, (which still has not been received) leaving four different voice mail messages and one email inquiry, and to date I have not heard from anyone in this company. When I called, I provided them two contact numbers for me, as well as my email address, and I have stressed to them the importance of contacting me, regarding my order, order number 2521. I made the last call to them earlier today, (August 22) and left a message indicating that if I didn't hear back from them within the hour, I was reporting them to you. Obviously, they neglected once again to make contact. I am therefore asking your assistance in either having them fulfill their obligation to me, or return my money. At the very least, if this is how they choose to conduct business, other people should be aware of their sleazy business practices.

The phone number they provided me is 206-343-3111. The answering machine indicates that it is indeed JL Rocken.

Any assistance you may provide will be greatly appreciated.

As of September 20 the case was closed unanswered. This case is on file with the Washington State Beeter Business Bureau, and can be reviewed there as well.

If this company can't do business any better than this, their license to practice business in the State of Washington, and the City of Seattle should be revoked. The also should not be allowed to be involved in fraudulent internet sales.

I am one of the lucky ones, and was able to file a claim through my bank to have my funds restored. That being said, I felt it was important for other consumers to be aware, and beware of this company.
