Jafrum International Inc. Not a Direct Ripoff. -Just Consistently Crap Product. Internet
Not a straight ripoff. Just more of consistently bad product.
In my experience, they are a kinda-hack-ish company that sells crappy stuff.
They do not use expedited, prioritized and professional CS case-management procedures I've noted in-place at other companies like Dell; whose CS demonstrated the height of professionalism to me by contrast. -Even Lenovo was more organized.
CS is Very slow and sometimes unpredictable, *BUT at least they DO stand behind their warranty/return/exchange policy. There, they cannot be faulted.
However, over the course of 5+ jackets, there was a Major Defect Rate of at least 80%. All those times, there was SOMEthing wrong with the item that made it unusable.
It was almost always a defect in materials or a gross error in component size/matching, such as a Medium jacket that somehow had an XL collar attached to it, or leather that came from the factory splitting, cracking, or as thin as paper and weirdly-tanned.
And that's where the product will always fail the otherwise well-meaning staff.
**After all the items I went through, I became convinced that Jafrum sells EXCLUSIVELY factory irregulars that were discarded by QA.
Who knows, maybe Jafrum is Farsi for "Garbage"?
It's a shame, too; because the Customer Service staff come across as VERY nice people. They really DID try to help, Many times. It's too bad that they don't work for a better outfit.
My advice to any shoppers who would dare walk The Plains of Mordor, -I mean take the Jafrum route-: if Jafrum doesn't get it right on the very 1st try, get your money back IMMEDIATELY and do not try again. No Exchanges. Go somewhere else. ->Because they will NOT get it right after 1x.
