JAI Appleseed's ,Appleseed's Failre to Receive Items Ordered & VIP Rewards $14.95 Charges Without Knowledge Nationwide
They sent the items we ordered but did not place our address on the package. The tracking # showed it was delivered to our local post office. The post office has an image of the package without our name or address on it. I presume it was sent general delivery. (In this day and age, due to terrorism, I guess the USPS takes a picture of all packages). Appleseed's refunded our money minus the shipping charges.
As for the VIP Rewards charges, apparently, Appleseed's pre-checks the acceptance box to enroll in this program. It's very subtle and we weren't aware of the enrollment (as many others have experienced). We lost 6 months of fees but others have lost as much as 4 years worth. As with any rewards program, it is designed to get you to spend as much money as you can thinking you're getting something for nothing. You're not. VIP membership is no longer offered (probably got caught with their hands in our cookie jars). This membership was worthless and that's why they discontinued it. Too many complaints.
We removed Appleseed's from our list of places to shop as of Nov 2017 because we didn't receive our package.
