James Collins [email protected] Hobart 60 QT Dough Mixer Scam on craigslist in many cites stating that you contact them via email. They tell you that it will go through ebay purchase program for your purchase protection to verified Sanford, Maine
Hobart 60 QT mixer advertised on Craigslist in many city. We all think we can't be took but it happens DON"T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU. First clue No personal phone number. Never Never send money Western Union to anyone but family and friends.
I was looking for a 60Qt mixer to start a pizza business. I emailed a sjames9287@hotmail. Whoever emailed me back with a very impressive email that someone else wanted it but couldn't get loan. That the mixer was in Maine (another big clue. It was advertised in San Antonio and I was interested due to the fact that I was in Colorado and starting a pizza business 45 miles from San Antonio, Texas
Scammer called himself James Collins and said he was traveleing and that he had already paid the freight on the mixer and could not get his money back but freight company would ship it for him to anyplace in USA. (another big flag. Freight companys do not take money before shipping)
Next the Scammer (James Collins or whoever) said if I was interested we would do the transaction through ebay for both of our safty. I had used ebay onced and my pizza trainers said this is a great deal BUY IT. (Warning if it is TOO GOOD TO BE TURE> IT IS NOT TRUE!!!!) I had planed to go to San Antonio to look, buy and pick up. Now it's in Maine. Not being in my right mind and only hearing BUY IT . (Yes you gessed it I bought it Hook line and you know.) I emailed and said great I have a paypal account and could pay ebay. He emailed back and stated (I have already sent to ebay they will tell you what They require. I am not sure....HA. Ha. Will the email came from what looked like Ebay invoice with a what looked real ebay transaction #10091213341 with detailed instractions that looked for real to located the nearest Western Union Office Make payment to ebay agent's details as the receiver (David Miler 7450 NW 97th Place, Chiefland, Fl. 32626 ( YES YOU GUESSED I DID JUST THAT. BYE BYE $2600..oh yes and $150 to Western Union to make the transfer) The fake email from Ebay also said fax receit to 1(267)222-3456 Now that is funny too. Look at the number. After you know you have been taken it is so easy to see right under your nose. I have contacted Western Union. Police,FBI, Craigslist. I know I will not see any money but I SURE HOPE YOU DON"T FALL FOR IT. Take care By the way it is listed in many other city's and I have reported to craigslist but they will just change their emails and keep trying to rip us off. DON"T SEND ANY CASH>
