JAMES WESSELING JR owner of 360 Degree Blue, AZ License Number: ROC197576. Failed to finish completion of my pool and several others in the Phoenix Metro Area. I began to note problems when the excuses began to flow in when I questioned the length of time it was taking to complete my pool. Over 4.5 months my pool progressed through each stage, and I made my payments as agreed upon in the contract. Once my deck was finished and he received the last 30% check he stopped returning my calls. We still had a final 10% to pay off, but have not heard from his company.
The final 10% would not come close to completing the pool either. I went by his place of business and the company sign is down. I began the process of reporting his company to the BBB, AZ ROC, AZ Attorney Generals Office. We have been contacted by another customer who has not heard from this company in over two months. Their pool is even further behind than mine and they had paid some money upfront prior to completion of the deck. The woman I spoke with threatened to report Mr. Wesseling to the media, from what she said he said bring it on I can use the publicity.
They were afraid that any confrontation my delay their pool more. I have also spoken with sub-contractors who have yet to be paid. What did he do with all the money? The state needs to investigate this company.
Mr. Wesseling began with a clean AZ ROC license. He now has 5 complaints against him, his BBB still shows one, but the process is slow. I am worried that Mr Wesseling may attempt to start another business in AZ or another state. He is not to be trusted even if licensed. I could understand a company having financial problems. I would expect some sort of notice not just being blown off. After speaking with this other couple I can see he has literarily ripped us off. Even if I don't get a cent back I would hope the state will go after him and put him in jail for fraud/theft. He cannot get away with this. I thought I did enough research apparently I was wrong. If I actually hear back and get results from 360 Degree Blue, I'll let you know, but I am not holding my breath.

After a bunch of running around and waiting we received a check from the ROC office in Jan 07. It covered what was required to finish the pool. I just wanted to keep this posting current so no omne is ever RIPPED OFF by JAMES WESSELING JR ever again.

Yes, but I am waiting for the AZROC inspector to come out on 17 May 06. Then we'll see how long until my claim is paid. I had another company finish my pool, and they did an excellent job.

Finally AZ ROC revokes 360's license

Well James. Wesseling Jr. license has finally been revoked, and I can now go about finishing my pool. Unfortunately the state of AZ ROC will be stuck with the entire heart ache that he has left behind. Hopefully they can take some legal action to keep this person from ever holding a license again. He needs to pay for what he has done to the number of families that counted on him and his company to build them a pool. I am told this is not the first time, he has had issues. I have heard about another pool venture in Tucson, but do not have the details. I can only hope those of you out there looking for a pool company check them out to include all owners, partners, and supers. If you come across Mr. Wesseling, avoid any company he's involved with because no good will ever come from it. I unfortunately had to learn the hard way.

Who knows what happens next all I can do is wait for my hearing with the AZ ROC. THen hopefully recover some money. If anyone ever has contact with Mr Wesseling Jr. avoid him at all cost. If I had met this guy and not one of his sales men I would have never signed. My loss now.
