I bought a CD from Jay and Marie's famous "1 Cent CD" auctions. They sent me the wrong item, refused to communicate with me after multiple attempts, and would also not respond to Ebay consumer protection.
They have 196 negative feedback within a month, and 2000 within this year. If you multiply the $3.01 ($3 for shipping, 1 cent for the auction) by the 2000 people they've scammed, they've made $6,000 delivering faulty products, wrong products, or no products at all.
I contacted Ebay and they told me I need to send the item back, pay the return shipping costs, and then I would be refunded. This would cost me more money than to just keep the item. Jay and Marie know that you won't send it back, and there you have it. They have your money and there's nothing you can do.
It's not about my measly $3.01. Or the stupid CD. It's about them being allowed to operate with over 200 negative feedback a month, 2000 within a year. Obviously I'm not the only person not getting what I asked for. They refuse to communicate, and don't care if their buyers don't get what they ordered. And Ebay refuses to shut them down because they make too much money from Jay and Marie, the BIGGEST power seller on ebay ever.
They may be the biggest power seller in Ebay history, but their service sucks and they are scamming tons of money from people. And no one can do anything about it.
