JBC & ASSOCIATES ripoff AGGRESIVE TACKTICS, LIES, AND MANIPULATION BLOOMFIELD New Jersey
I pulled a free copy of my credit report and seen that I had a collection for a Mandee account. I then contacted the company and was told that this account was being handled by another company. I called the 800# and the company JBC informend me that I had a dishonored check that tripled in $ since 1996. They continuously made harrasing statements and said that I would be taken to court.
I out of lack of information about the issue and what was at the time a very vonerable moment sent the company $450.00 by Western Union. That company is now stating that I owe $700+ more dollars before my account is clear. They call me on my job and harrass me at work. I called one of the companies that they said that I owed and they stated that they have never accepted cks. I read where you said that paying only opens the SOL. What are my options now?
