Hello!

I used to work with JC Penny salon, as a stylist, I love what I do, because of some bad people they take that a way from you, I mean real bad.

I used to work on the J.C Penny Salon on Westland Mall MI, and the salon managers name was Tony, It started fine, two of my friend was working there, at that time and they told me they can get me job there, so I went and applied and I was hired, it went fine till both my friend was laid of fired I am not sure what happen, I end up meeting the region /district manager, and I talked to her about having higher position with the company, when the salon manager found out, she was very jealous, so week later, she start accusing me for things that was not true, it was her word against mine.

God was my whitens, I don't like about that manager not that she was not doing her job right, but she was ripping the company off, what I found out that every time when the new stylist is hired and stay in work for 90 days, the managers get $250 bonus.

So what she do, she hire new stylist and keep them for few months, and let them go, she keep the old crew of the stylist who been working there for while, and she don't give chance to the new stylist to build up their clientele at all, I worked there for less than six months, one time she called me on her office saying that "my customers are having hard time understanding my English", and that make me doubt my self, so I went asking my friend around at the salon if they where having hard time understanding my English, and they said no, is not me is her, at the same time I was going in college major on business, week later I was late for work because my son was sick and I called in late and let her know, she said I never did and let me go, she was the worst manager I ever had or see

Two days later she fire another stylist who was black girl by accusing her stilling, she was excellent girl, she will never do that, she did what other stylist where doing, they would go shipping, and bring the stuff to their work station, and pay before leaving for home, including her.

Since that I was not able to get a job with a JC Penny Salon at all, she mess-up my chance of getting higher position with the company.

I worked as a manager before and I never will treat an employee like she did, I think all managers should take manager classes and learn not how to run a business, but how to work with people.

Sincerely

"accusing her stilling, she was excellent girl, she will never do that, she did what other stylist where doing, they would go shipping, and bring the stuff to their work station, and pay before leaving for home, including her."

Having worked in loss prevention, if this part is true, J.C. Penny really needs to revamp their security policy in this area.

At all places I've been at, this type of activity is strictly forbidden. If an employee is purchasing merchandise, they must do so on their break time and pay for the merch immediately, retaining a receipt with the merch. They are not allowed to ring in their own purchases either. In most places, a worker must deposit the purchases in their assigned locker, never take them back to the workstation. The only exception to this is the pharmacy, but that's because it operates as a "secured area" unto itself and the staff are unable to leave the area.

The reason for the above, is because it's too easy for LP staff to lose track of what the employee "intends" to pay for, or sometimes, if paid for and brought to the work station, a dishonest employee can "add" items to a bag.

Speaking of, it's not your job to be a judge of character regarding other employees. Someone can seem as sweet as pie, but when an opportunity arises that is just too easy and tempting, they're just as capable of theft as anyone else. We've caught nuns, mothers with newborns and even cops liftng from sites I've worked. You just never know.

I'm a business major myself and I frequently turn in papers in APA format. It's difficult to imagine that the author of this report could pass English 2, let alone an entire curriculum.

From the report:

"I think all managers should take manager classes and learn not how to run a business, but how to work with people. Sincerely"

I would never hire a manager who didn't know how to run a business.

was "higher" in the company then you had a chance.  Did you read your report after you typed it?  Does it make sense to you?  Holy crap, please stay in school but switch your major to english 101...

"my customers are having hard time understanding my English", and that make me doubt my self,"

- I don't know if English is your first langage or not.  Just based on what you wrote here, I can see where this would be a legitimate complaint.  I'd also wonder what Business Degree you could have, because at most schools you would be required to write papers.  If you wrote the papers like you did here there is no way you could have passed.
