I just want to let everyone know if they have a problem with an account at POCU (post office employee credit union) DONT expect humane treatment from manager JD SMITH. He is an absolute waste of excrement. I worked for the post office for 23 years until disabled and fairly recently had a checking account problem. When I went to the local branch to speak to the manager, JD SMITH, I was treated like a retarded child. The only thing he managed to do was humiliate me in front of other customers and various employees, stating that the error was my fault. He chastised me for all but breathing.
I am not saying that the error was or was not my fault- this is not the question at this point. The basic issue is that he does not need any sort of managerial position and is unprofessional, rude, and degrading. I contacted his board of directors and they basically said, "yeah, he does that."
The credit union is great, can't be beat, interest rates are high and fees are low. Why should I have to put up with egregious behavior by a neanderthal just so I can be treated like a human being? Screw this, I'm going somewhere else.
