Jeff Brend Levin & Brend, PC Stolen personal bank information/ identity theft/constitutional rights violation/nothing is beyond this attorney and his firm Las Vegas, Nevada
This attorney, Jeff Brend, has in his possission a copy of my bank deposit slip and used this information to subpoena my bank records, which included the signature card I sighed at the time I opened my bank account that included my name, social security number, drivers license number, employment information and even my mother's maiden name. This is everything needed to steal an identity.
Jeff brend was sent several certified letters requesting the manner in which he obtained my bank deposit slip but I have not received any response. This leaves me to believe he stole this information.
I believe my rights have been violated reference "Section 6 of Article 1 of the Illinois Constitution and it's my opinion Jeff Brend and his firm use their law firm to invade the privacy of individuals to gain an advantage for their clients and jeopardize individuals to identity theft. The information they obtain is distributed to their clients, individuals in their office and any party involved in their case. Who knows where this information goes since the firm is involved in public court cases.
Jeff Brend did not have the permission of the court to subpoena my bank records. At a huge expense to me, the judge issued a protective order to quash my information but only after the information was distributed to the parties listed above.
I will be seeking damages from this attorney and his firm but listing this information will allow anyone who plans to use this attorney and his firm to consider their practices. I hope to find others who this firm has violated and together maybe we can put a stop to their illegal practices.

Response to "are you a total idiot" comments.
The circuit court clerk approved the subpeona not the judge. The clerk advised they assume when an attorney request a subpeona that the person (me) is a party in the case. The judge quashed my bank information but all parties had the information by then. How did Jeff Brend obtain my personal bank deposit slip? Did he steal this information? I'm not a party in the case. I'm not his client or the opposing party. Jeff Brend went fishing for information he thought would help his client against the other party. To: the person who wrote " are you a total idiot" Read "Section 6 of Article 1 of the Illinois Constitution" before you quote the law or just stop watching "law and order on TV".

You claim he didn't have permission to subpoena your bank records...what the heck do you think a subpoena is? He had permission from a judge.
You claim you had it quashed...great. That doesn't make it illegal. Also, opposing cousel isn't allowed to contact you directly-that's why your certified letters were ignored.
Stop watching Law and Order and sit down with your attorney to correct your mistaken assumptions.
