Jeff Joliffe with certified transmission and service llc was hired to fix my transmisssion. I dropped off my truck 7/25/2016 along with $600 deposit for transmission rebuild. Jeff told me it would be ready in 3-4 days. After a week I called him no answer?? So I went down to shop Jeff was out of town, and no work done on my truck. I then took my truck home and called Jeff to tell him I need my deposit returned. Jeff said he would but now ignores my phone calls and has yet to return deposit. I looked him up online and now realize I made a big mistake not reasearching a new mechanic off craigslist. Please check your local BBB for unfamiliar services in your area and avoid getting robbed....! This guy is a crook and needs to be charged criminally us victims who are looking to save money are easy targets and with no money or time for small claims courts what are we to do?
