Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Jeremy Michaels contacted my business with a list of 17 different promises - services that he was going to provide to grow my business, such as developing a facebook account, twitter account, custom newsletters, 10 monthly articles to new clients, yahoo business listing, google business listing, and many others.  I agreed to an auto-deducted payment of $200 per month - whereupon Jeremy became unavailable and completely non-productive.  Every time I was finally able to actually communicate with him, he was VERY sorry, would have another sad excuse, and double his promises for the future.  I'll give him this - He is a MASTER of deceit, and has a knack for being just believable enough that he keeps you hanging on.  Unfortunately, after 4 months of this, I basically had a facebook page - that was it.  Progress reports, or any details at all about his work were continually promised and never delivered.  The website overhaul that we negotiated for an additional $1400 was never done, and I later found that he had farmed the work out to a developer in India - for $200 - and kept the difference for his trouble.

At the end of 5 months, I had invested more than $2200 in this guy and had nothing.  When I contacted the web developer in India to get my website done, he actually asked me to pay him more money - because Jeremy had never even paid HIM the $200 they agreed on!  This guy is one piece of work.  If he contacts you, I would highly recommend you just walk away... no matter how good he makes it sound (and he's real good at that) it's not likely you'll see any kind of return on your investment.

Marcus, the writer of this report had his facts wrong. The company name that scammed him is personaltrainerleads.net, not personaltrainerleads.com. They are two completely different companies. We should know because we are personaltrainerleads.com. The owner of personaltrainerleads.net has several deceitful companies targeting health and fitness professional that are all gone now since they ran a fly by night business model:

xtremefitnessleads.net
http://web.archive.org/web/20080901035502/http://www.xtremefitnessleads.com/

instantwebdesignquotes.com

personaltrainerleads.net

His emails we could find are:
[email protected]
[email protected]

[email protected]

They were also working with:

xpressbookkeeping.com

Their phone number is answered by some guy who was unlucky enough to be given that number.

We have a solid scam account of this company since they have been on our radar for several years now. They bought personaltrainerleads.net after we bought personaltrainerleads.com back on 14-Sep-06.  Here is the link to our
whois lookup:

We are not the same company, we provide recommendations to honest and ethical companies within the health and fitness arena. If you would like to contact us about this or other fitness scams feel free to contact us through the contact

We are here to help - not mislead.
