Dr Cha, I tried to send the attached letter in an email, my printer is not working so I can't print it out to mail.. I hope you received it. I wanted to let you know that the retraction that I filed on the website of ripoff report has posted. I am sorry that I responded that way. I have been through so much and I did not think before I posted my comment. I guess my reactions sometime is a combination of being scared, frustrated, and tired of everything. I know if things do not get better soon, I don't know what will happen. Three back surgeries, a knee surgery and not working for 3 years is a lot for me to handle. It has taken its toll on me and I am sick from it all. I hope you understand what I am going through and I did not mean to hurt you. I don't know what else to say other than I am sorry again and I hope you can forgive me. Please accept my sincere apology for any grief I may have caused. Please feel free to respond to this email so I will no that you have received it. If I know you receive this letter and you can forgive me I will be able to rest. Thank you Laura

I just want to say choose your dentist carefully, or you might end up like me with a bad, poor quality bridge, that was very expensive and will now have to be replaced. Not to mention the trauma of it all and going through it all over again.
Also, be sure you do not have to sign a release. Big mistake on my part by signing one.
You can also tell how professional they are by the comments the office has submitted. It like little kids arguing saying "ha ha look what I just wrote". How professional is that?
Need I say more. Look how they are acting. I think I have made my point.

In response to Leigha... aka Dr Cha's office clerk/receptionist... or what ever else you do...
You did not read the terms of submitting a rebuttal and you talking about someone taking meds and marking false statement, giving personal information..is prohibited.... You are so ugly for making those comments. I hope you never have to have back surgery....
"Profanity, obscenity, threats of violence, racist remarks, false statements, personal information (i.e., social security numbers, credit card numbers, home address(es) or phone numbers), or any other information which violates Ripoff Report's Terms of Service"
I really feel sorry for people like you. But you know what, I'm glad I found out about this practice and the people who work there. This office lied about what has happened.... The bridge was replaced in March 2008 and he left decay under the bridge. It is what it is... You can't lie about it. He knows it and so does everyone there.. Because you love your job soooooo much, why would you say anything different?
PS: Take a good long look in the mirror..
Have a good life.

My experience with Dr. Cha has been nothing short of professional in all aspects. If somebody has a problem with a business or an individual, there are better venues to handle it. Be sure that your facts are documented and can be verified other wise they are nothing more than slanderous remarks. Some people are never pleased and this usually will follow them.

Dear Dentists,
Please be very careful when accepting new patients. Make sure you research Laura's background . Please ask for all previous records of Laura's before consenting to treat her.

Laura,
You cannot go for 4 1/2 months with a temporary bridge in your mouth(due to your own negligience in not coming in),and expect anything less than a rancid smell and taste. You were not told there was decay left, you were told you allowed decay to get under the "temporary" bridge by not practicing good oral hygiene. The decay was removed and a bridge placed. Did you have a cleaning for all those years since the permanent bridge was placed?
As for the records....every time you called... or came in... whoever speaks to you logs that in your records. No records are ever falsified and that is a slanderous remark. You need to lower your meds enough to remember what you say and how many times you would call the next day after a visit and you would want to come in and discuss what you had just discussed the day before. You also have had issues with other dental practices in the past. You have always complained about work you have had done, know matter who performed it.
Dr. Cha's not responsible for holding patients hands and brushing their teeth for them. As an adult, you need to take responsibility for your own health and hygiene.

Dr Cha had falsifed the reports and notes in my file. Everything he states is untrue. The office staff lied about not asking me to sign a release when they infact did. They lied about saying they did not ask me to pay $500.00 for a consultation with him about the problems I was having.
I have been to see another dentist and they said the bridge workmanship and everything about it is bad. I have been told the bridge that was remade in March 2008 (THIS YEAR) by Dr Cha should not have been seated with decay left under the bridge.........Dr Cha should not have replaced the bridge knowing he did not get the decay....But this is why he had me sign a release!!!! so he would not be responsible. I was advised that you can never be too careful when chosing a dentist. My mistake was trusting he would help me and take care of the problem.
Know matter what he says in response, most of it is made up to cover what he did and did not do. I just hope people see this and will make good judgement before chosing a dentist...... You never know what you will get unless you do your homework.

Dear Laura (a.k.a. Anonymous)
Your first upper left bridge was finished on 5/10/2004. You were to return within few weeks to get the final bridge cemented. Our office had contacted you several times to come in to get the final bridge cemented. We've called you on 5/18/2004,
5/21/2004, 6/7/2004, 7/21/2004, 9/8/2004, 9/13/2004, 9/21/2004.
On 9/24/2004, I offered you full refund of the amount you've paid $2985 (minus lab cost $439). I asked you to take the bridge to another dentist to finish the bridge if you were not happy with me.
You've explained that there have been a lot of stuff going on' and you wanted me to finish the case and you would pay off the remaining balance of $1315.90.
On 9/27/2004, you finally came in to get the bridge, I found extensive decay under one of your bridge teeth. I cleaned out the decay and cemented the bridge. I told you that you would need to be in a very close watch since I had to alter the tooth under the bridge. I recommended that you keep an exceptional oral hygiene, come in for regular check up and cleaning visits due to fast rate of cavity. At that time, you told me that you used breath mints all day. I advised that you would need to cut down sugar intake to avoid future cavity. When it was all done you wrote me a nice note:
I am so happy with the results and the quality of work Dr. Cha and his staff gave me. I get so many compliments on my new smile. My teeth are beautiful! Thank you Dr. Cha
-Laura
Since finishing the bridge you did not show up for any of the check up visits. You returned on 2/5/2007 complaining of bad odor coming from your left side. When we took x-rays one of the lower left teeth had a massive decay not the bridge. However, you insisted that I make you a new bridge. I made you another bridge on 3/5/2008 at no cost to you but you claim that it has cavity again, smells bad and loose.
I don't know how I can help you.
I'm sorry I can not ask you to brush and floss your teeth daily and watch what you eat. I don't see how I can help you with your daily habits and routines when you are not willing to take any responsibilities for how you take care of you mouth.
Dr. Jerome Cha

Sounds like a lawsuit.
I would include insurance in this lawsuit as your insurance (if u used it) would want their $$ back for work not down, or work done substandardly.
Personally I would consider picketing, boycotting the dentist.
Also, there are many dentist or doctor related rating sites, and I would even go and inform the insurance companies that he may work with (if any).
