Jewelry Vault Ripoff Quick to charge your credit card won't make good on commitments Los Angeles California
I ordered a ring in early to mid June of this year and was told it would take 20 business days to reach me. JewelryVault immediately charged my credit card. In mid July I started getting worried that they might not have sent the package return receipt, and perhaps it had gone missing. I called and was told that the item had not shipped, but would, by the end of that week. A week passed and still no package. I called again and was again told that the item had not shipped, but would, by the end of THAT week. Another week passed and still no package. I repeatedly called for the next few weeks and was told exactly the same story, until finally, I called one night and asked to cancel the order as I felt I'd waited long enough. They told me the credit would be posted in the next 4 days.
Well, you can guess what happened... The next week came and went and NO CREDIT. I called and was told that the credit would be posted on Monday of the next week. You guessed it, that week came and went and still no credit had appeared on my card. I have now called a total of 5 or 6 times attempting to obtain a credit for goods that were never received. Chad (supposedly the supervisor) has spoken with me on a number of occasions and has now assured me that he has posted the credit, yet I have received NOTHING (I check my credit card account daily). NO MERCHANDISE, NO CREDIT BACK FOR THIS $556.00 charge. I will NEVER do business with this company again. They are obviously dishonest and will tell you just about anything you would like to hear. I have told all my friends (who had also been watching the show), not to do business with them as well.
