Jewels in the Loop Al Bruton-Jeweler Diamond Ring given to Store on Consignment, Ring cannot be returned, Owner says he can't return it and has no money... St.Louis, Missouri
I gave a Diamond ring to a jewler to sell on consignment for me. He said it was worth around $5500 retail. He was to sell it and I would give him a portion of the sale. This was back in March. When I ask if the ring has sold he said Not yet. I ask for the ring back and he said he can not give it back. I said then give me my $5,000 . He has no Money.
The story is he took it to Another Jeweler to change the setting to make it easier to sell. He know owes that Jeweler approx $2,000. I ask why would you give a consignment ring to a jewlere to do work if you did not have the ring sold yet. So basically its theft and I am out a Diamond ring and band over 5k value. He keeps telling me that he will make payments on it of $500 a week. Of course that never happened.
I would suggest staying clear of doing any business with this person. He told me last month(July) he was selling a bunch of Watch bands to a pawn shop to come up with some of the money. That never happens.
STAY CLEAR AND DO NOT PURCHASE OR DEAL WITH THIS GUY!!!!! BUYER BEWARE. HE CAN'T EVEN AFFORD A BUSINESS PHONE AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING TO HIS 3RD LOCATION IN ALMOAST A YEAR.!!!
