This company is an unethical company. They treat their employees like slaves. I have been verbally abused, yelled at because of not being taught properly. I had to train my own manager. I was yelled at because something wasn't done because it was still pending. I have been treated very unfairly because i am a woman. The men in the company never worked, but the women were always treated like they were.

I was fired because I had asked the owner Tai Choi not to yell at me when he was talking to me. He kept yelling, and told me to quit. When I said I did not want to quit he fired me. I was a dedicated employee who always did more than what was asked. They have lost so many good employees because of the way they have treated them. If you would like the name of a couple others, I can supply them.

Not too mention they upcharge their freight, they're not honest, and they don't sell a quality product. Their product is constantly a problem for their customers. I was always replacing units because their refrigeration was made so cheaply that it never worked properly. They employ illegal aliens. i have spoken to most of their warehouse staff who 75% have admitted to me that they bought their ss# and don't have legal papers to be here. Now where is the justice in that when we as citizens work hard, while they use people the way they do. When you work in their warehouse it is a very unsafe environment. I had many times expressed my concern about the refrigerations being stacked so high without bracing along with their assembly lines not being braced. Please this company needs to be put out of business they are bound to kill people.

I just found this through a business associate and this report from Nikki seems to be right in line with the reason she was terminated. I don't need to go into all of the details on her termination except to point out that Nikki was lazy, often showing up to work late and leaving early, took many days off, and had a horrible attitude at work. In fact, I can name current employees here at Jimex that can vouch for the terrible temper that she often showed in the workplace. It was hard to communicate with her because every interaction ended up with her getting upset. On the day that she was terminated, the president of the company, Tai Choi, asked her a simple question on the ETA of a specific shipment. Her response was "I don't have time for you right now, I will check on it, now leave me alone" with a voice and tone that is unsuitable for any workplace. A response like that to a regular co-worker would merit some punishment, but to say that to the boss, is totally unacceptable. This is probably the reason why her file for unemployment was denied by the state. To reply to some of the severely incorrect statements that she has made, we have many HAPPY female employees working here. In fact, the office staff is 60% female, and have been happy working here before and after Nikki's employment with us. Our warehouse staff are all legal, as we take many tedious steps to make sure that only permitted aliens are employed with us. Our warehouse is also certified by OSHA as a safe workplace as we get visits regularly from OSHA inspectors and pass with flying colors every time. Furthermore, since the time that Nikki was terminated, Jimex was awarded East Bay's Top 50 fastest growing companies and San Francisco's Top 100 fastest growing companies. Furthermore, our operation and product line has increased by 25% since and keeps growing on a yearly basis. Now, if our products were inferior, as she states, none of this would be possible. Also, I find it odd that she has the audacity to name us, but she fails to give her real name and only her nickname. So future employers beware of Nicole!!!
