Absoulte Fraud, JK Harris is blatently stealing from its clients. I paid $1900.00 (borrowed from a friend) to pay them to files some back taxes and get an offer of compromise

Mr. Jones told me it was a "no brainer" case and I would qualify for a $100.00 to $500.00 Offer of Compromise.

17 months later, yes, Seventeen, They tell me that I do not qualify for an offer, AND, I should take my returns to the IRS.

Peter, who has left messages here to help is correct. They will offer you a partial refund and deduct amounts for "services" that never happened.

I have spoken to several employees, all of which claim that they are not in the department that I want to question.

Deborah Garrett a tax preparer, called me finally to tell me that she had just got my returns and would prepare them tomorrow.

I contracted these parasites in March of 05. Deborah called me this week. Only after I sent a scathing email to every address I could find.

She said she would call back the next day and left a voicemail on my home number at 8:43am, I told her my work schedule and she originally called me at work.

She left the "hours she takes calls" between 12:30 and 4. I finally reached her and she told me she was going to mail the completed returns to ME.

She told me that I would have a better chance of getting this going by taking them to the IRS myself.

Some other loser called me the next day after I contacted the local ABC news troubleshooter and she emailed them. He told me on the phone that I never qualified for an offer of compromise.

Bottom line, I am taking them to court, but I am also pursuing the News angle, ABC is working with me and I intend to make this company know my name and I want state and federal officals to shut them down.

I am asking for all my money back, PLUS all penalties and late fees accrued while they had my case.

Please, Email, call, and beat the doors down and make them pay.

Your best bet is small claims court. I am considering alot more than that, I will not rest until someone does something to these bastards and takes away the business license they dont deserve.

Hope to see you on primetime JK, your the lowest scum I have ever had to deal with.

Hi Dave, Take them to small claims, it's the quickest way to retrieve your funds. Ask for the maximum amount allowed in your state, and when you go to court, ask for "Treble" damages, (3x's) the amount. They must appear to argue it. Also the contract is void due to their breach, for non performance, so that nulifies the arbitration clause. they must also appear to argue that if they so choose. I've been haunting them for four years, and will continue to do so. I get nothing out of this but satisfaction. I am presently preparing a brief for the Postal Inspectors office, and the Justice Department Fraud Division. I have also given Monica Linder notice of this but she thinks I'm just a pain in the ---. Read the Rico Act, JK Harris should receive a lot of awards for the way they qualify under it. I'm not a lawyer, so maybe I'm wrong, but I guess the Justice Deparment can tell me. Peter Salem, MA

Spare yourself the time of leaving the obligitory 'We want to help rebuttle. You actually get paid for leaving that useless message on here? Maybe if your company spent as much time doing what you say you will rather than addressing complaints you would get paid more. Who ever decided that it was abusive to investigate your company must have really enjoyed the weekend at the beach. Karma is coming, Id check my 401K if i were you.
