Jno. K. Eareckson & Co. Hardwood Flooring refused to honor contract did not complete job shoddy work Ripoff Baltimore Maryland
I contracted with Jno K. Eareckson & Co to install hardwood flooring in my family room, library and staircase. They got half the money up front and finished the library and the family room and then demanded an extra $400.00 dollars as payment in full for the library and the family room.
This payment was outside the contract as I owed them no money until the entire job was completed. I paid anyway--my bad--and I never saw nor heard from them again. They refused to take my phone calls and never called me back and never completed the staircase. They only wanted to do the easy job.
If they were planning to cherry-pick just the easy part of the job they should have told me up front and I would have gotten some one else.
THe workmanship was shoddy. I will have to redo part of the job or I would never be able to sell my house.
