first of all it is tuscaloosa. there are no attorneys there who will go against each other. they are all golf buddies. any WOMAN who has even went in front of 1 particular judge there knows how sexist this county is. they firmly beleive in giving the children there to men. even if the mother has never done drugs drink or abuse their children. someone will step in eventually and correct this system. i think judge hamner is one of the only fair men in tuscaloosa county. if all our cases could go to him.

I am seeing a growing number of incidents like this where attorneys begin an action, get their fees, and disappear leaving the client "on his own"! And leaving the action unfinished. Contact the Alabama State Bar Association and file a complaint against Mr. Bockman. I hope you have all your original paperwork to show them. A lot of people are being told to "get an attorney" these days. A lot of people have to have an attorney. That fact does not give folks in the legal profession leave to act like scam artists!

I don't know if you knew this or not, but it didn't matter if you were dismissed or discharged. It would go on your credit file anyway. The only thing is dismissed stays on 10 years and discharged 7. You should have tried to get another attorney or something. The only thing you can do now is try to file again. Your credit is no good for 10 years anyway. So why not??
