Frank and Lisa Romanick Counterfeit coin and stolen money Holbrook New York
6 1/2 months ago I was contacted by an agent for Frank Romanick at Lee' VV Collectibles to send my coins collection (worth $12k +) for a price I would be pleased with and that it would be handled in 1-2 weeks. As part of the Deal Frank would send me a 1909-s vdb Lincoln cent (AU/BU). After 3 1/2 months and multiple unanswered phone calls (he has caller ID) I finally received the coin. I sent it to PCGC for grading. 4 weeks later, and at a cost of $80, I received the coin back ungraded, marked Counterfeit! Frank said he would send me a 1 oz. gold coin in exchange. I sent the coin back same day as we spoke. 3 months later after numerous unanswered phone calls and multiple unanswered e-mails I finally got the agent to make him pick up the phone. To date I have still not been reimbursed! Do not put any confidence in his Home page Welcome note. It is a preverication of the highest order. I also spoke with another coin dealer on Long Island who was also trying to receive payment from Frank for his customer. To date he has still not been reimbursed or contacted by Frank. To do business with Lee's VV Collectibles is at your own peril. Be forewarned. It may require me to fly to NY (at additional cost) to achieve some satisfaction in this matter.
