Complaint Review: John Elway - DENVER Colorado

OMG!!! Where do i start i got a call for a auto dealer it was john elway on colorado blvd ,they got my name and number from a auto loan i filled out on line .they told me they had a truck that i would quilfied for and they had an approvel from a bank that my down payment would be 1000 ,then i went in on the 20th of may and saw the truck it was an o6 chev 1500 it wasent the greatest but thats all they said that i could get. so i took a test drive and it would work. then i went back in to do business with a man name paul in sales he then ask me questions when he had all my paper work then he said i needed another $1000 and i said why its because of having bad credit i said i think i can do that. then he said i need 250 more i said never mind i will pass. but then cory the manager said thats all they needed because i was approved by the bank so no worries. then he cam back and said are payment is going to be 430 i was ok with that .then the next day or so we got called back in to redo the paper work. paul told me it was good news and when we got down there it wasent ,they wanted more of a monthly payment so that went up to 466. i was so up set everthing they told me was bs, so we signed papers again and this time it was at 930pm we were the only ones there and the guy wanted to hurry and go home. i asked if alot of this wording pertain to us like the millage and the 50 aday and he said no because we were already approved by the bank so no worries.

we then took the truck home and dident hear any thing for the bank or the car lot up in till june 28 witch was a friday at 4pm .a girl name holly said she needed our phone records and that i was on a time limit and that cory should have told me. so saturday the 29 cory called and made a 3way call to the bank they told me what they said on friday i told both of them it was unfair to tell me i had a time limit the same day my phone records were needed and if i dident get them that i had to return the truck. i told cory will i get my 2250 back and he said yes of course no worries .so monday came and i was working at my other job and i called holly and said i can fax over my phone records tuesday because that was the only time i could get off early from work witch i did and she called back when she got them and said they wont work they needed all of the phone number. i have called over 3month i was so confused so i went back to the phone store and they told me it would take 2-3 business days to get them and it would cost $25. i called holly and she told me well that wont work but give me 6 more reference and that sould be good so i did that same day and my husbands boss called her to verfied his empolyment she then told me everything was great .i was so releaved it was over so i thought.

i got a call on the 3rd of july from cory and said he got a package from fedx with a denial letter but he wasent sure why he said he would look in to it in july 5 because he was off on july 4 but a man name sam would call me and he said no worries thing will be ok .i then called the bank but they werent open so i waited until friday they told me i was denied because my paper work wasent on time. i then lost it i was crying so bad i thought i was having a heart attack i was so up set i got the fire department from a caller saying i needed help i have there number to conferm that happen ,then i got a call from cory and he wasso mean and hateful he told me the reson it was denied because my hour that i worked dident add up that i was frouding paper work i put down that i had two jobs but they only went off one .i tryed taking to him but he wouldent listen to anything i had to say and told me i had to bring the truck back be for 4pm or he was going to report it stolden. i have high blood pressure i thought i was going to just die. i kept asking why he was being so mean to me he wouldent answer me he just kept saying he wanted his truck back. i then said well can i get my 2250 and he said no and that he was going to charge me 400 more for a tow truck to pick it up then he slamed the phone on my ear ,

then i called my lawyer , i never ever been so stressed out about anything in my life up until now ,i wish the real mr john elway would call me so i can tell him or ask him does he really need my 2250 that bad to go after people with bad credit and kick them to the curb .i hope this workes out because i cant take the stress .so if any one can help me that would be great thanks for taking the time to read my story ,   darla h,  littleton colo
