I only wish I had read these reports before buying anything from John Lane.  He offers a program that is close to impossible to achieve, unless you are an attorney or licensed private investigator (which is what most states require). 

He does not honor his 100% return policy, with no questions asked.  You try to return it, and they laugh and giggle at you, saying "we said you could return it, but no one said you'd get your full money back." 

Their "No Questions Asked" policy?.........I was told, we're not asking you any questions, just not giving you your full payment back.  Then told that the infamous John Lane looks over each return and decides how much, if any, he'll return.  Of course, you never get to talk to John Lane.  I was told that "he's too busy to talk to his students."    I cringed at being called "one of his student".

If it's too good to be true, then it cerainly is too good to be true.  The have a manager named Mary (who refuses to give you her last name), someone named Cody, and then there's Courtney.  Now, why aren't they out using John's program instead of taking his complaint calls, at probably minimum wage.  Why does John Lane hide behind these girls with no last names.

In closing, there is very good information out there for free.  You do not have to throw away your good money (John Lane's garbage for $800.00!!!!!).  Just do your research online.

I'm the author of several comments you've seen on this site.  I got a call a couple of days ago from a single woman in Georgia that got ripped off by a "top salesman" (his words) for John Lane.  Believe his name was Larry.  She stated that she couldn't attend the online training session coming up.  He told her he'd hold her credit card and not charge it until the next training session, with her approval.  It took him all of five minutes to charge that card to the tune of around $995, give or take a few cents.  Get this........the woman doesn't even own a computer !!!!!!!!!!!!    That didn't stop Larry, the "top salesman" from cashing in.  Larry says it's a family-owned-and-operated business, and that he was just so impressed by them that he just had to move to Colorado to join this fantastic team of upstanding citizens.  She's now asking me for help in dealing with them.  I told her she needs to go the Attorney General's office, as there is a multiple-complaint case open there.

Side note:  I did actually get an apology from Mary for the way she treated me.  She had just lost her father and was through an emotional time.  My sincere condolences.

I purchased the system, and wanted it returned. It was outside the refund period because of a mistake of Canada post. When I told them to report the problem, they repeatedly told me it was my problem. They are the one ones with the shipping information, and I am the one that is supposed to make the request? I even showed them the website to make a claim. Luckily someone delivered it BUT A MONTH AFTER!

I Have several issues with this garbage product, and Extremely bad customer service. Here are my issues that I had.

1) Really bad communication. I emailed them 4 times, and when I said I wanted to refund before the package arriving, then and only then they replied. I had asked to speak to John repeatedly and all I got was ' John is a extremely busy man" Yeah ripping people off. I don't know how they seriously sleep at night.

2) When i told Mary that I was going to refund the product she stated "thank you for the information" then I paid for the shipping, and signature approval and sent it back. Not knowing what they would say, I took several pictures of the product and also video proving that it is in perfect condition. I cant provide everything if requested.

3) After the product had arrived back to them, i sent several emails back and Mary replied saying that  the packaging needs to be assessed for it's condition it would take 3-4 weeks. REALLY? I sent the package back(1 week), reviewing the package (1 week), refunding (1 week, doing) nothing wasting time (1 week) 3-4 weeks? REALLY? They must really be getting a lot of returns if it takes that much time to process a item like that.

4) She told me that she would ask John Lane if the refund could be processed quickly. I stated ok. Then she stated that she was unable to return the item because it was past the 30 days.

SIDE NOTE... **If anyone needs the sales page, or any page in his sales process, you can message me and I will send you anything, because I have everything documented**

5) So its past 30 days? Why would you say " ok thank you for the information" when I told you I was going to return the item. They stated, that was the acknowledgement of the email. These people are worse liars than Bill Clinton. Like seriously. REALLY? 
- They want to waste my money again by sending that s**t back and then say NO. ( that is just disgusting. and saying that [we rip people off, and lie through our teeth and give you a smile while doing it]

6) What a waste of my money. This company is out to steal and Rip you off. I really wish I had seen this before buying this garbage. Seriously. Bad customer service and the Owner JOHN LANE wont even talk to any one because hes scared. Seriously You make a product, your customer service says something. Stand by your world you slimy marketer. You have ZERO credibility.

I'm still waiting for a response from you guys.  If you're trying to work with me, I'm leaving my number, once again...214-601-6566.  No secret.  I cannot get through to you guys. 

Unfortunately for you guys, I took pictures of everything I sent back to you...the book, and each unopened CD.   You can claim whatever you want about my using the product.  Honestly, I don't believe you've seen what I've sent back.  You sure protest a lot.  I've given my phone number to the general public, why won't you?  Every time I've tried to call you, I've gone to tech support, with no response.  Here I am, call me....I'd love to resolve this.  None of you have tried.    My number...214-601-6566.  Please post your direct numbers here so others can contact you as well.     I hear many are trying to reach you.  Again, my number  (214) 601-6566.     No one ever made it clear that I couldn't open the package and go through it.  I managed to hi-lite four, FOUR, pages in the handbook before realizing I needed to be an attorney or P.I.  in my state.  Opened a maximum of 3 cd's.   Now they're trying to say I abused the producet.   Cody, Mary, Lydnsey, John......step up to the plate, and to your agreement.  Full refund, no questions asked.......and, we'll still be friends.

John:  First of all, I'm a female, not a male.  The product was returned almost completely unopened, and in excellent shape.  It was returned in less than a month, not 90 days.  I spoke with Lyndsey about my complaint.  She did, in fact, listen to the recorded conversation between your staff and myself.  She agreed that they didn't handle things very well, and said she had a long talk with them.  Please find out the facts before you attack me.  Talk to your daughter first, please.    I AM stating the facts here.   All you had to do is stand by your guarantee, and I'd have gone away.  This is the first time I've ever taken such a strong stance against something.  That should tell you how terribly wronged I feel.  Here's my number, in case anyone out there wants to know the REAL story:  214-601-6566.  Not hiding behind anyone.  I'm busy too, just like Mr. Lane, but I will still take your calls.

I tried to reach John Lane, and kept being told that he's just too busy to speak with me.  He comes out now when a complaint is filed (one of many, by the way).  John, do the right thing.  The same thing you claim on all your websites.  Return my money!  No fast and easy, like you claim.  Just stating the facts.  Maybe you should re-visit your advertisements and email solicitations you constantly send.  I'm also told by the rude staff there, when I can reach them, that John Lane digs through all the returns he gets to determine how much money, if any, he plans to return.  Totally at his discretion.  Wherever does he find the time?  "Full Refund, no questions asked.  And, we'll still be friends."  That's John's offer.  Come on John, let's stay friends.  I've returned everything to you - almost all un-opened.  Haven't received my refund yet.

Our fast cash program has a 90 day, no questions asked return policy - either this person is a competitor or didn't buy the course or he would have realized that.  Every person who has returned the course within 90 days has gotten a refund - 100% of them.  We do charge them a fee if it is not re-useable. 

That fee is less than 10% of the cost of the course - we have people who send the manuals back having highlighted them or who have scratched the dvds so they cannot be used - and we do charge them a fee, but, as I said, that fee is less than 10% of the cost of the course.

Now as to the his statements that nobody can do it unless they are an attorney or private investigator - that is also false although there are three states that have that requirement, there are 47 that don't.

His statements that were supposedly said by our support people are totally false, and I can prove that because every phone conversation is recorded and reviewed by a manager weekly. 

If this person did not get a refund (and as I said, I don't think they ever bought the course) it is because they couldn't make up their mind in 90 days to return the product.  I know of nobody that gives a lifetime return policy.  90 days is more than enough time to evaluate if something is for you or not.

Out of over 1,600 people who have purchased this course we have a total of 10 who returned the product after 90 days and did not get a refund - and less than 5% who have returned the course at all.

It is unfortunate that the individual who wrote this, failed to update it, after working with us.

We honor our return policy period. This individuals issues was that they purchased materials from us, read them, HIGHLIGHTED and made notes throughout the material and then returned it, requesting a full refund. We are very clear that the material can not be damaged, written in, etc... in order to receive a refund. With that said WE WERE STILL WILLING to work with her and provide a partial refund. Try doing this at your local bookstore. We can not resell the material that she returned. In most cases you would receive $0 back.

As for the other accusations - they are simply false. I am happy to go into each one, however they all stem from an individual who essentially purchased something, used it, wrote in it and is upset that we would not offer a full refund. Little do they mention we were willing to provide a partial refund.
