Johnson Roofing ripoff Poor craftmanship of new roof in 2000. Will not honor after 2 years of complaining Wilmington North Carolina
Dennis Johnson owner of Johnson Roofing paid $3000 in full for a new roof and replace rotten wood. The company notified the roof was leaking after repair end of 2000. Called in April 2001 when raining. The owner came out in the rain and saw the water pouring in on the dining table. He went on the rook during a thunder/lighting storm. He was trying to locate the leak. I worried about him being hit and let him know he should get down.
He came into the house to say he would be back next week when it was dry. I came back To town 2 week later May 23 and noticed residue from ceiling on table and called him again leavening several messages. However, did not talk to a live person.
According to log, June 5 talked to his wife who said she would relay the message. June 12 called again left msg. June 22 placed a call and talk with wife. Never a received call back or an acknowledgement. Left several msgs July 1, July 5, 9, 12, 14, 23 noted quite irritated. Called and talk with wife on Aug 27 letting her know someone would be at the house on Aug 28. He came and spoke to my sister went on the roof and left with no feedback. I called to find out the outcome left msg. Wife answered on Sept 3, said she did not know why he left with out communicating. Roof leaking on Sept 12.
I contacted business. Left msg -noted very mad.
Spoke to wife she said they do not guarantee. He was not paying for the damage and it was not their fault. Professional Rip-Off Roofing Company. I have proof. Come see the ceiling and the table that has buckled or the chairs and carpet that need replacing, because of this company.

First, let me say this is the first time I have seen this report, so that's why I'm responding now. I had installed a new roof on the Rozett's home for her father. I had completed the work & he was satisfied. I guess a short time later Mr. Rozzett passed away and the home was not occupied.
I recieved a call from the daughter( Mr. Rozzett's daughter) that she had a roof leak. I came out to look for the leak and could not find any evidence of a leak! I told her I needed to come out on a rainy day and go in the attic and look for any wet wood or insulation. So, I told Mrs. Rozzett that we are expecting rain tomorrow or the next day and I would come out and investigate the leak.
I came out on a Nasty Day! I mean pooring rain! I looked in the house,no leaks, I went in the attic, no wet wood, no dripping water, I came down to talk to Mrs. Rozzett and explain to her I had found no evidence of a roof leak! She starts pointing to the dining room ceiling and ask me where the mildew is coming from, I told her I couldn't explain that, but that there was no roof leak! I start asking her questions about the house ( double wide trailer) , she tells me that the place has not been occupied in a while ( since her father's passing) I told her the mildew could be coming from the house being closed up all the time, hince the musty smell in the house.
She automatically starts to blame me and still says it's a roof leak! So, I told her to call me when she see's a leak, her sister calls me and I respond, still no leak! At this time, I'm becoming frustrated! I have done everything possible to prove that my roof doesn't leak! So, I leave it at that and tell her next time I'm going to bring my camera and document my proof! I never here from her!
Let me say, I'm an Honest Person & I operate an Honest Buisness! I have thousand's of Satisfied customer's . I will be happy to provide a reference sheet for anyone! I can't really understand why Mrs. Rozzett would say these thing's about me!
