This company is a total rip off, they fax businesses forms claming that they will collect monies on past due accounts of bad debt. Once you get sucked into they "sales" pitch, the nightmare begins. I gave them a account to collect on that was past due for a long time, apparently they had collected mony from this client and never bothered to tell us. I only found out because they were trying to get us to sign a new contract with a power of attornt atteched to it, the girl named Amy, told me that they were able to collect $4500 from this debtor. That they would mail us a check in a couple of days, this was november of 07, still no check. So i called them and asked for when i might get my check, they gave me a check number and the amount was now $3050.00 and Amy told me the check is in the mail. I called on 01/02/08 to ask about the check that they suposedly mailed. They said the check was mailed out on 12/1/07, it does not take mail over a month to reach to california from california. I called again and was told to speak to "Goloria" Who was, ofcourse out to lunch i left a message no one called back. So I clled again on 1/27/08 i was able to talk to Gloria who said give them one more day. I called on 2/4/08 i was then transfred to Nicole, whohad no answers about were our mony is. I called on 2/13/08 and asked if i could talk to Amy or Gloria, or Elizibeth, nicole none to of them were available. The girl on the phone would not give me her name. I called again a little later, they were all out to lunch, i said "lunch, its only 10:45am!!" I called again on 2/15/08 and asked to talk to anyone that can help me, the girl said no one is available and that i should leave a message. I told her that i have left about 50 messages and no one calls back, she said there is nothing she can do all she can do is take a message. I asked her if i will have to sue them to get my mony or hire a collection agency to collect from them. She said i can do what ever i want and hung up the phone. Pease do not hire this company for anything, If anyone else has had problems with them please contact me, i'm going to file a law suit aganist them and i have sufficient proof to do so.

Just "back door" them and then file criminal fraud charges!

All you have to do is contact the debtor you were trying to collect from. Naturally since they paid the debt, they will want to prove it to you. Get copies of everything, and then go file criminal charges against JSA, along with a lawsuit.

I had a major issue with JSA for nearly 2 YEARS! Issue has recently been resolved...I actually got my money back! Your situation is exactly like mine....I logged over 75 phone calls and a dozen or so letters. None of the calls or letter led to a response....except one: when I got the check. They had the money, they just didn't want to give it to me....and i had PROOF that the debt had been paid. there is no point in your contacting them further.....next: they will put you on "hold" ( ignore). I finally ended up contacting Investigator Greg Askay from the District Attorney's office in Ventura California. (805) 662-1703 He has DOZENS of complaints similar to mine, and he is in contact with them to resolve these problems. Make the call today. Good luck to you.
