To the OP...contact the DA's office in Ventura CA Investigator Gred Askay. he is your best bet to get your money To the person with the commerical debts to be collected: your best bet, if you have a court judgement, is to sell it, take your loss and get what you can. Just google "sell court judgement." If they are really gone: good riddance....but I doubt it.

Jsa collected a lot of bad debt for me over the past five years. i own several mini-malls and small commercial buildings in noerthern and central california. over the years i have turned over a lot of businesses that went bad on their leases, but just because they went out of business i still want my rent paid. Jsa collected a lot more of it than i thought they would. some of my leasses have personal guarantees and they did real good on those. I paid them money here and there for lawsuits, some we did great on and others no so good. My problem is IM PISSED!!! they have gone out of business and now with this recession, half of my commercial real estate is empty. i need a good collection agency like jsa that isnt afraid of all the 'regulations' that protect dettors. i don't care i got calls from the sacramento police one nite because jsa found one of my dettors girlfriends cell phone numbers and got him on the phone. he claimed jsa threatened him. well guess what? that tenant DESTROYED one of my retail storefront spaces, he put holes in the walls, stole the glass display cases and wall shelving, he stole all the track lites and the HOT WATER HEATER!! and he owed past rent on top of that for a total of $50,000.00. AND HE HAD THE NERVE TO CALL THE COPS ON ME AND MY COLLECTION AGENCY???? it was a business to business debt and jsa had every right to call him on the girls cell phone. there's three people at JSA who worked real hard for me and did what i needed. i did get put on hold a lot, but i understand you can hear all the stress they deal with in the background. KIM, AMY SPEAR, and MARY and a guy DONALD all have helped me. I pretty much get a check every month from jsa, there's still three cases out there in litigation and theres a number i call for updates, but those cases are now judgments and at least there's ten years for me on the statutes now, eventually those people will slip up and i'll get my money. BUT NOW I NEED A NEW AGENCY. WOULD SOMEONE FROM JSA CALL ME???? I HAVE 13 bad commercial leases and i don't want pansies collecting for me.
