Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

The reason Iam up here today to let anyone who deposit money into their account with chase bank especially the branch in Medina and brunswick Ohio they have to be extremely careful. Its happy to me for th fourth time before I write this statement up here. I have a whole sale business so with a large amount of cash sometime is very normal. I open my account with chase for about 5 years now. Sometime i go to the back deposit cash and check all together. I used to give them my debit card and cash and check and tell them how much cash I have deposit and how much check deposit. They always come back and tell me there are $100 short on cash deposit. I was like "OK" I just count it why it short? but I tell the banker ok just deposit whatever I give you. Its keep happen to me a few times then I say "ha" why we short on cash everytime so I decided to deposit cash and check separate. I rent a deposit scanner so I can deposit my check at my business. One morning im kind of hurry because I have my business meeting I have to go and I need to make deposit before to my meeting. My wife count with me at home and we both come up with $10,000.00 cash. I drive straight the the bank and this time I come inside the brand. The teller ask me how much it is? I told her $10,000.00 cash. She told me she will be right back. She bring my money to the back room and count, she come back out and told me there are $100 Short. I was like, "haleluda" GOD, GOD But I was so hurry and need to come to my meeting. I let the teller at the bank know that me and my wife count the money at my house and then both of us count and we all come up with $10,000.00 and why now is short. She told me that she will let me know if she find any extra $100 dollar bill fly around or around the branch and she will give me a call. After the meeting, I call the girl at the brand and ask her did she saw any $100 dollar bill flying around the branch or not. She come up with a negative. I was so dispare. Later that weeks, my wife come in side and deposit $5000 cash and the teller tell her that she short $100 and my wife tell the teller she did not want the money to be deposit and she want the money back! My wife told me, she so nervous everytime she walk in to that branch and deposit. She did not want to go deposit the money any more. We actually reduce the amount of cash deposit alot than we use to. So here is story come. One morning I need to go to the bank and deposit and me, my wife and my brother in law in the car. We talk about we deposit cash every time we lost $100. I told my brother in law. I need to deposit $6000.00. But before I do that, I want to give him the whole stack of money and count for me. I want him to count to see how much did he come up with. He count it, he come up with $6000.00 dollar. He give it to my wife, my wife count it, she come up with $6000.00 and then she give it to me. I count it. I take the tube inside the car and take $6000.00 from my with and I recount it. Every $1000.00, I put into the tube. I count exactly $6000.00 I put in to the tube and send it to the teller. The teller ask me how much, I told him that $6000.00. He bring the money to the back room and come back out and told me, there are $5900.00 I litterly sit in my car and we all shock!!!!!!!

My brother in law ask me, are they kidding us? Im so angry and park my car and walk in to the branch. They told me that they will recount with me again. As you know, they already bring your money to the back and lost $100 and if they recount with you again now you still can not get that one hundred dollar back. Let me tell every one be aware of every banker at the bank at the branch. not all of the are honest, especially the one at Medina and Brunswick Ohio. This staff usally swith around between two branches. Its happen to me one time from Brunkswick to and that time I saw the people at the Medina branch. That day, I short $100 also. Im a business person and im very busy and I dont have much time to go up here and report all this, but I know that the money is very hard of making money now a day and each time I walk in to the branch and lost $100 is just a heart breaking! Just be aware. If you have to deposit the cash into this branch, Please count every $1000 right in front of them and tell them that you dont want them to bring your money to the back. Sometimes they told you for the security reason that they have bring to the back and count. You may want to tell them that you don't want to deposit and take your money back. Don't let them bring your money to the back!!!!!! I will closed all my personal and business and I will let all of my family member know to closed their chase bank accout, especially the one live around Medina county. I have another business account at 5/3 bank and I deposit large amount of cash money there and never come out short any money. The reason I open chase for my whole sale business because they are national and easy for my colleage to deposit in to my account because we all have th same chase bank because chase is everywhere and 3/5 bank only in some state. Thats why I open chase account for my business. Well, from now on, they can not take a money from me anymore. they lose all my business. I report this matter to Chase corporate office and they told me that they call the branch and check and the amount I bring to the branch is only $5900 that day. Thank you corporate office for all of your hard investigation.

Here's a little somethin' I thought of while reading all this. It's kinda inconvenient, but i think it might work.

Go to a store that does money orders and get a money order check for yourself/your company, if possible, for the amount you would have deposited in cash.

Take that check or checks to the bank and deposit them as a check deposit (hopefully the place that you did the money order will deposit your cash by the time you deposit the check) so that you don't get an OD penalty.

The bank then has to deposit your check, with consideration to hold times, of the entire amount, without any run arounds with money shortage.

Hopefully this helps
