I have done plenty of digging regarding JTE SYSTEMS in the past 2 years because of my own expensive, dissapointing experience with them and this is exactly what I went through in dealing with them.
Imagine my delight finding them,when for 2 months I had been searching unsuccessfully for a supplier who could meet my tight deadline and outfit my entire 8 station salon with all fittings and accessories in one order!
My order, which totalled over $7000 should have arrived in two to three weeks.....time ticked by, and was promised almost daily, that my shipment would arrive anyday....only to find out that it was being held ransom at the border ( all shipping and charges were supposedly included in the price i paid)...long story short, two days on the phone, 1400$ in extra charges, they release it to me 5 days before my salon is set to OPEN.....way way way late. At this point I am getting angry with the skewed communications.....hard to understand and almost impossible to contact, as no one answers, and message box is always full
Get everything open and start assembling in the middle of the night.....and surprise! no front desk, sink that is advertised as 'universal hookups' has a 1 1/4 inch drain....made out of plastic....and second sink is cracked in half! The contractor actually laughed when he saw the drain and said it would never make North American code....Get a very sick feeling as we start unpacking and realize almost every item is damaged or missing something. Also its wrapped in a foreign newsprint that i dont recognize...but do know it wasn't made on this side of the planet....
Funny thing is....i guess they didn't have the styles I wanted in stock, so they took bases off one chair, attached them to another style of chair, and so they tip and wobble....they look like garbage. It is a mish mash of anything and everything they had 8 of in stock....not what I had ordered, and every single piece of metal I recieved was dirty, dented and nothing lined up as it should.....that was the enjoyable part of dealing with jte.....
Over 30 phone calls, many times I had been hung up on...sworn at....but it was very nice of them to finally after months, give me back the money for a front desk I never recieved...all $345 of it....I filed with the BBB of illinois, I laid out online requests for action and got no where past the refund for 1 of 4 missing items....
JUST STAY AWAY THEY ARE THIEVES, AND THEIR PRODUCTS ARE DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS!
