To add to what others have already said, this dealership is a major ripoff and big time liers.


 


If you choose to deal with them thinking youll be any different, then thats at your own expense.


 


I made a mistake of going to them (junction26prestige), without checking some of the reviews online on this dealership.


 


 


 


I dealt with two guys named Lance who presented himself as the (Sales Manager), and Raj (Sales Rep).


 


I paid £100 for deposit to Lance and £150 to Raj to get a Diamond Bright polish


(which he said was at a discount price and would be done on the premises).


 


Let me begin with how it all started.


 


I went to look at a BMW 330d (reg: SL06 UXG), which i was assured by both guys there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Also to note Lance and another guy i never met but had the displeasure of speaking to due to his manner over the telephone mentioned all there vehicles were independantly checked by two garages.


 


 


- I sat down with Lance to talk finance.


 


( I would put forward some cash towards the purchase of the car and the rest would be payed off by finance)


 


I mentioned i had already secured a company for the Loan (with options of using my personal bank).


 


The Loan Company i had in mind which some of you may know as (CarLoan4u or maybe now known as Zuto). Some of these companies as one's ive mentioned will, look into the History of the Car, History & reviews of the Dealership etc before issuing a loan.


 


Lance convinced me i would be getting a better rate if i use one of there Loan Companies. 


 


I was told I could get a Loan at 3% flat rate...? and sounded very convincing (for someone like me who's a novice to these things. Although to my credit I never do things without getting a second opinion, or looking into the details.)


In fact the numbers were way off, more like 5%-5.5% flat rate.


 


This obviously raised a concern for me. So I tried to get Finance or a Personal Loan in which at all attempts failed because (Halifax, Nationwide and Zuto finance would not work with 'Junction26' due to their bad history), which i was unaware of.


 


It was only then I searched Google for reviews online on this dealership. It all started to make sense at this point.


 


Here's what I did next.....


 


- I thought if they would lie about finance what else would they hide I wonder.


 


I told them I would need to do a 'vehicle inspection' through the 'AA'. This was just incase they were lying about the condition of the car too.


 


Needless to say at this point they lied about that also.


 


The 'AA' report came back with the following...


 


Essential Repairs.


 


1. External Leaks (upper engine) - oil leak top section of the engine.


2. Headlights- condensation to the O/S headlamp glass.


3. Engine underside leakage - oil leak side of the engine block.


4. Dampers (cosndition/leaks) - leakage from the N/S front damper.


5. Rear LH tread - worn to 2mm.


6. Rear RH tread - worn to the legal limit (1.6mm) and a screw has entered the outer shoulder - puncture.


7. Warning Lights - low tyre pressure warning light (although the tyres fitted are not run flats, could be due to missing/faulty sensors). And the light showing a DPF regeneration is required are illuminated.


8. Oil leaks - from the engine.


 


Interior & Bodywork Exterior Additional Comments:


 


1. The boot lid and rear bumper have been replaced.


2. Repairs have been carried out to the N/S rear wing. 


3. The O/S rear wing and O/S rear door have been repainted.


 


At some stage this vehicle has been subject to accident damage repairs. 


 


Additional Repairs


 


1. Offside rear door -  shallow dents and paint chips.


2. Roof - Shallow dent.


3. Offside front door - graze to the door mirror surround. 


 


(Although I paid £150 to get a 'diamond polish', and even though I never returned to 'Junction26' to check for myself if it had ben done, because there was no need to at this point). My conversation with the AA engineer and due to the report led me to believe that also was not done.


 


Lance told me he would speak to his Boss and that I should call back. I replied that the reviews mentioned "junction26prestige" never replied to people's complaints and asked if the same would happen with me. He obviously said he wouldn't do that and he would respond back to me.


Once again after leaving 3 messages and couple months later I've heard nothing.


 


This company is not profesional and very incompetent. They have obviously proven themselves not to be trusted over and over again (Fact). They have a 1/5 star rating which is terrible.


Shameful tbh and dont deserve to be in business. I'm guessing this business practice is from the top-down and considered normal because nothing is being done about it.
