Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On August 30, 2004 I ordered a coat from just-leather.com. About 3 weeks later they emailed me saying that they had moved and were behind in shipping out orders. They said all orders would ship in 1-3 business days.

About a week later I got another email saying they were still behind on orders and wanted to know if I had gotton my order yet. I told them I had not received my order yet and they offered to ship it via a faster method free of charge. I accepted their offer and they told me they would honor my request and get my order out immediately. I still didn't get my order.

I emailed over and over. I even tried using their so called live chat a couple of times, but no one was ever there. Much of the time they did not respond to my emails. I called several times and left messages. No one called me back. Plus it's not even a toll free number. What kind of business does not have a toll free number. I was told a total of 2 times via email that my order would be sent via 2nd day air. Still no order.

I actually got a live person once when I called and he told me that my order had been sent but for some reason got sent back to them. After verifying my ship to address he told me he would ship it out by UPS 2nd day air and would give me a tracking number. I didn't get a tracking number nor did I get my order. This was the fourth time I was told my order would be shipped out.

I was told a total of 5 times that my order would be shipped out. On Oct. 18, 2004 I discovered this web site, meaning the one I filed this report on. I called just-leather.com threatening to report them if I didn't get my order by Oct. 20, 2004. One of the owners called me back and left a voice message. I emailed back telling them to only contact me through email. I wanted written proof of what he said. No one responded.

I did report them to the Attorney Generals Office, Division of Consumer Affairs in New Jersey. I also reported them to Fox 29 News, What's Bugging You.

I did start demanding my money back. I got an email on Oct. 29, 2004 in which they told me my refund went out 2 days ago. No refund came. I sent a money order so I can't do a charge back. I continue to email them demanding my money back. Still no refund!

I finally got my money back from just-leather.com after ten weeks from when I first placed my order. I believe that it was thanks to this site.

Thank you Bill for your suggestion. I finally got my money back from them after ten weeks from when I placed my order. I feel that it was thanks to the report that I filed on this site, because I sent them a link to the report that I filed on Nov. 5, 2004 and I just got the check yesturday. It was post-dated Nov. 8, 2004. Which you can see is 3 days after I filed this report.

Call Attorney Generals Office

You must call Attorney Generals Office, tell them to do a search and see what Just-leather.com is all about. These people have no regard for anyone. They don't care after they get your money. If you don't act strongly the money will be gone since you sent a money order. Go on the site http://nj.gov/lps/ and call and call and show them how many people have been scammed on this site. This is only the people that have reported Just-leather.com how many others are out there??? That is the question. Here is some other info that might help out. Monmouth County Department of Consumer Affairs 50 East Main Street PO Box 1255 Freehold, NJ 07728 732-431-7900
