Just The CV - Jamie Ian Elston Appalling customer service, fraudulent, rip off Witney Oxfordshire
After finding the website www.justthecv.co.uk through an internet search, it looked like a professional set up. So on July 31st 2006, I paid for the professional service, 48.45. I was also enticed by the promise of a quick turnaround, 24hours response with your first draft.
Waited 4 days nothing. Had a token, vague email from Jamie Elston, stating that he apologises for the delay and is working on my cv, he is experiencing technical problems and busy time etc. Waited another week, heard nothing, eventually got a reply 2 weeks later, saying it should be with me shortly.. again very vague.
Again I waited. I have had 4 emails from Jamie in the space of 3 months, the final two stating that the last delay in me not receving any cv was that his father had died. Call me cynical. I am very sorry if he has lost his father, but after receiving so many excuses, this seemed a little much.
So I sent a complaint to him, which I am legally and entitled to do. On Sept 3rd 2006 he sent me an email, angry at my attitude, and saying a refund is being sorted. Heard nothing since. Scandalous, how can they let this company appear on its search engine, total con!!
