K-9 Kare Korner Owner sells sick puppies and will not honor her own warranty. Magnolia New Jersey
I purchased a puppy from K-9 kare Korner. He had a runny nose so the owner gave me antibiotics for him. After 3 days, he was sick and taken to an animal hospital. Although he was very sick, they couldn't give me a diagnosis without running a battery of tests.
Two days later , he was sick again. I took him to my vet. He was coughing, throwing up mucus and white foam and he wouldn't eat, drink & he slept all the time. My vet said he was given his shots too early and the antibiotic the pet shop gave me was for dogs 5 lbs & over. My puppy was 2 lbs. This tore up his stomach.
He spent the night at the vet. Three days later he was sick again with the same symptoms. This time he was at my vet for 4 days. He was diagnosed with parvo virus/gastroenteritus and pnuemonia. I was given an "unfit for purchase" certificate.
I spent $1100.00 in 14 days for this puppy. The owner refuses to give me any money or honor her warranty. First she accused me of taking the puppy to the animal hospital when he was "probably just tired". Than she said "for all I know you fed him a Taco". The last time I talked to her, she accused me of having my vet falsify the certificate so I can get money out of her.
This woman is insane. She doesn't listen when you talk to her. She is always right. She is obnoxious and overbearing and she also thinks she is a vet. She is a groomer and she should stay a groomer. This woman should not be allowed to sell puppies. She keeps several different puppies in larges wooden boxes with wood shavings that the puppies urinate and defecate in and then they are all playing and standing or sleeping in the puppy waste.
She should stick to grooming the puppies, not selling or even taking care of them.

Hi Melissa, I heard there was a piece about K-9 Kare korner on the news. I am so glad to here she is shut down. I never thought of calling the news. Good idea. I contacted Consumer Affairs a year ago and they said they were going after her. I filed a complaint against her in small claims court. As soon as she received the subpeona, she paid me the money she owed me but she was furious that I filed the complaint and she had to pay me. Consumer Affairs advised me to take it and they said they would keep investigating her. I hope your puppy is OK. I don't know how to contact you. Hi, I hope that u get this message Barbara. I live in Grenloch. And I too have had the same problem with K-9 Kare Korner. I have just got shut down. The health dept shut her down! They have revoked that part of her liscence. We also were on the news three weeks ago. on fox 29. please, please, contact me if u get this. we need everyone we can that has had an experience with K-9. Consumer Affairs is also envolved. I really hope that u get this. She is horrible and I am not going to stop till she can't do this anymore.

KIM does thimk she is a know it all and tries to tell everyone how to medicate her sick puppies and lies to people about where they come from. She is a PUPPYMILL seller who gets her sickly puppies from BK PETS in KANSAS who truck them in to her. The are kept in total filth it smells so bad when you walk in. She only cleans her boxes out once a week and disenfects then the rest of the time she just scoops the poop out. I know for a fact she has had many puppies there die and she keep them in the freezer in the back room till she can get her credit for them. And any time you have a sick puppy it's always something you did it's never her fault even though she knows she is selling sickly puppymill puppies.Just ask the vets in that area about her none of them have anything nice to say about that horrible place.I really think she should not be selling puppies because she only thinks about the money.
