If you want to be treated like a child by childish, disrespectful, back-stabbing reptile management in a sweat shop environment than work for Kaplan University. Management changes their story so often they actually lose track of whatever "truth" they are inventing.
Management treats you to "one on ones" meant to manipulate you and keep you off balance. Many Admissions Advisors work at Kaplan University because the economy is tough and desirable jobs are hard to come by. Many of them don't like the pettiness of management.
Kaplan University is a low quality SALES organization. Management drives the advisors relentlessly to get prospective students enrolled "today", NOW, on the first call. So if you are thinking of enrolling, realize that your "advisor" is probably operating from a used car sales mentality. Notice the quick/slick comebacks, the one-liners designed to stop your questions and discourage you from seeking advise from other sources.
If you are thinking about becoming an "advisor", be advised that you will be pressured into talking people into expensive educational programs and talking them out of "thinking about it". Hey, that's sales, right? But do you want to work in a Big Brother environment where employees are encouraged to "tell" on each other by being asking who on the floor has been "negative" around them? What a place!
