Katazo - katazo.com ripoff Nationwide
I had just activated my gophone with cingular and recieved my 10 free minutes and only used the phone to activate v-mail which left my balance at 9.75 ok havent given the number to anyone not used anything on my phone.
Later on that night recieved to text messages from unknown person which was katazo.com with a message about a game i didnt order thought nothing of it a few hours later the same thing i go to check my balance and it was 3.31 couldnt call cingular because they were closed at the time.
Called them in the morning told them the situation and money was refunded. still hadnt used phone or given number out. wake up the next morning and balance is 1.31 cent. They had charged me for things i didnt purchased and never signed up for the service.
Went to their website to find a number to call to speak to some to cancel service they dont have one but did cancel on 7-13-05. i will see if they charge me anymore
Now i dont know who signed this number up for the service cingular or someone who had the number before i did. I suspect cingular did brcause i have heard of this in the past.
